Maybe it was a reference to our NIL offer? Maybe we were offering a certain % of donations and he wanted a firm dollar amount?

The NIL negotiations going on right now are bananas: it is a new thing, the market is hidden, rumors, unregulated, lots of shady middle men, people who have never negotiated anything in their life… Probably lots of lessons being learned on all sides.

No shortage of “NIL Certified Agents” tricking these families when such thing doesn’t exist.

  2. I thought his mom’s post on Twitter was kinda strange. They were looking for a place to show “all” his talents. She made a point to put the all in quotes. Makes me wonder what they meant by that because he was poised to be the go-to guy and leader next year. Guess we’ll never know.

I dont know how anyone can hold a mid major coach responsible for the team records with all this going on.  I am thinking I might retire from a being a basketball fan.  At this rate the one guy on the bench maybe our point guard..nnI guess I will wait and see on who we get to replace these players before I renew my season tickets.

Saw this on Twitter and I fully agree. Put your money to tangible improvements. These kids may leave after a year but that new arena will be around for the next generation. Instead of getting in a bidding war while the NCAA figures out this NIL stuff, improve the program as a whole.

No, that happened (pic-6) to Cash (everyone latest shiny object). I think about two times.

I think one was Cash and the other Reese. I’m saying Stone could have easily had one too. Had a throw to the sideline that was telegraphed and DB had a clean break at it. If I remember right, the WR was able to come back and make a play on the ball to save him.

I guess the ultimate silver lining is that our DBs were flying around yesterday. Absolutely hunting INTs.

17-22 for 214 yards according to Vito for Earle.  Pretty good percentage.  My understanding is they made White play into the wind the whole game instead of flipping.  Maybe because the lead was so big?

He also threw multiple passes that 100% should have been intercepted but either his receiver saved him or the DB didn’t make the play.

  6. Nah you’re on to something here. Be that middle ground between JUCO and high major ball. Go to these kids and say hey give me 2 years. We’ll win some games, you’ll improve your game, then you’ll go get paid. But obviously have your core culture guys that are around longer.
