For all the ragging on this defense... so far it has shut out Temple in the second half and now just gotten another turnover. Temple may not be good, but it is still that.

Another stop on downs for the D, getting the offense the ball in enemy territory. Temple isn't great, but it is good to see them getting some things done. But sadly the offense gave it back on downs

Defense creating a turnover on downs. and the offense turning it into 7 two plays later. This has to be enough to keep this W home.

so are evolution and climate change... but at least for those latter two i have seen actual evidence of their existence

If you would have told me that the defense holds them to 27, I would have expected to win. Left too many points on the board and gave up too many sacks/TOs

Definitely. This game would be at a completely different point, had they not left 11 points on the board in the first two possessions of the game... and that is before turning it over twice

Needed that TD big time. Great work by the WRs on that drive. OL also managed to hold up pretty well against multiple pressure and blitz situations.

I am not sure the team / coaches are aware that NT is down more than one score. Gotta pick up the pace on offense a bit, as killing the clock is deep in navy's DNA and if there are only two possessions left, that really eliminates any margin for error. If you want a shot at making that 3 possessions to increase the margin then you gotta start going faster.

There will not be that many possessions left in this game. So a score on this drive is a must.
