He is getting a lot of interest it appears.  Not sure if that translates to offers.

This.  Reminds me of the interest in the female field goal kicker from Vandy (that wound up playing soccer for UNT for a year).  She gained a lot of Internet interest from the novelty/rarity of being a female football kicker, similar to being a 30 year old college QB.

A nutsak grad will be working in our Athletic Dept.?  Seriously?  That's like storing US nuclear warhead info in a pack of Chinese tofu!

All right.  Who called this guy about the open position in the first place?  He certainly didn’t read about it.

Look here, the only thing I ever said was, for 2020 and 2021, when we were having QB disasters, why not give him some drives and see how he does? He never got a fair chance here.

I agree with peanuts 104. He never got a fair shake. He was very impressive in the state HS final, and should have been given a chance.

Unless we watched the quarterback battle in practice, not sure we can say Kason didn’t get a fair shake.  I’ll bet he had every chance to prove himself in practice to be considered for more game time exposure.  I’m not sure what the coaching staff would have to gain by unfairly keeping from a shot at more playing time.

While Kason didn’t get the game time that other quarterbacks received, I think it’s unfair to say it was unfair.

Just a question, but I saw where attendance was only 12,000 . Any ideas as to why so low? I think we had more last year playing Miami of Ohio on a weeknight in the " MADE UP BOWL".

Those that I know that didn’t go said it was because of two reasons:

    1. Start and end were going to be so late.  (Impacted what to do with kids.)

    2.  Near freezing temperatures.

Neither had anything to do with the team.

BTW - how to embed a tweet in posts other than doing a screen capture?  I tried the embedding option, but didn't work.

Under the “Share Tweet” options, select “Copy Link” then paste the link in your post.

Not as good as the ones that they did in Frisco last year, but I understand it was better financially for them to partner with a third party for a "tailgate in a box" type setup, so I'm all for saving the school money.

Next time, just please have a better beer selection!

Actually, this year was more costly to the University. Wanted to do essentially the same thing as last year, but the Frisco Bowl wouldn’t allow it.  There was already a contracted tailgate event between the bowl and Tailgreeter.  You might recall that originally the cost was to be $100 per person.  The Alumni Association joined forces with Tailgreeter and paid down the per person cost so that guests only had to pay $25 per person (or $75 same day).  This cost the Alumni Association more money because much of last year’s event was made possible through alumni donated food, drink, etc.

We had a first down.  Why not move the ball 15 more yards for a field goal?  You’re clueless.

You need to go back and rewatch that sequence.  Aune’s blocked pass on 3rd down led us to punt.  Had nothing to do with the clock.  If they panicked and started using time outs, Boise may have had time to come back and score before the half ended.  As someone pointed out in the other thread where this came up, leaving too much time on the clock burned us with UTSA.

I don’t have much respect for your “clueless” comment, friend.

With 1:33 before the half at mid field they should have called time OUT!      Over all game …. Great job coaches! Thank you.

Hind sight’s 20/20, but as it played out, had they called a time out, BS gets the ball back with more time to do something with it before the half rather than taking a knee.

Anyone have a spot showing the ESPN+ game around the stadium?

I tried to figure out a way to do it, but couldn’t pull it off.  ESPN has controls in the app that prevent screen sharing to a TV from a cell phone over HDMI.  Unless there is WiFi in the parking lot (or a cost effective hot spot), not sure how to do it.
