North Texas fans when we faced quality opponents last year: TP is super clutch and will come through in the end
(Some) North Texas fans this year: TP can’t play against quality opponents and left for money he’ll never deserve….based on one half of one live game

I can understand why losing by 7 feels better than losing by 21 but for me, saying we'd have won the games we were supposed to win just feels like more of the same .500 football we had with SL.
The difference is that it is in year 1 of Morris as opposed to year 7 of Littrell.
And, while I recognize that a loss is a loss regardless of point spread, I also recognize that there is more fight in this year’s team than I saw for the last 3 under Littrell.

There are only two reasons to draw comparisons to Dodge, who is quite simply the worst D1 coach I’ve ever witnessed.
1) Hyperbole
2) Enough time has passed that the PTSD has subsided

Chandler with another misfire and costly turnover
So, in your world a batted ball that is picked off is a “misfire”?

Some senior year highlights. I don’t know how good the competition was, but I like that he can shoot from midrange.

I know when this movie came out it was all about comedy, but is it me or does it seem like more and more UNT students are starting to look like this group? I see a lot of weird looking students around Denton more so than in the past.
You are not wron. Just yesterday I was having this conversation with some friends. I went up to the square to grab lunch and a beer before the game and saw that there was some kind of a 5K being run. Bear in mind it was raining and these people would be running in the rain, but it was jam packed. So rain is obviously not a reason for Denton people to stay inside.
Denton people will show up for things that are actually a priority to them, and I’m starting to believe that UNT’s location is it’s number one Achilles’ heel when it comes to sports attendance. The same kind of people that got a damn white squirrel as a “secondary mascot” for our university, and run that thing out on the field during our homecoming game, are the kind of people that will never show up in droves for football.

You're not going to get students walk across miles of asphalt and uncovered areas just to watch UNT football... Tomorrow will be a day that greatly displays the negative aspects of NIMBY stadium projects and the impacts they have on collegiate demographics.
The frats won’t be there?? Oh no…what ever will we do without the 7 of them that come inside??!!

A few quick thoughts:
- Competition: Playing Army provides a challenge and an opportunity to test our skills. It also helps us to improve our game, as we learn from our mistakes and from the strategies of our opponents.
- Fun: Playing against another Army adds to the fun and excitement, as we all work together to achieve a common goal.
- Community: These games can bring people together from all walks of life. Playing against Army can foster a sense of community and rivalry, which can be a positive force in people's lives.
- Tradition: Playing against Army is a way to carry on this tradition and to share our love of the game with others.

I am in possession of six tickets to the exhibition games on October 29th that I don't need (it's a long story). The seats are in Section 122 and if anyone was looking at going and wants to pick up a few tickets at $25 (less than what you would pay at the gate or on meangreensports and there is NO availability there) PM me.

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that this was an embarrassing 21-0 halftime deficit. The team and/or coaches weren’t prepared.
I am so proud the team didn’t quit but where was all this energy and success the first half?- 1

There are no moral victories, but I’m encouraged by:
- The fact that we have a QB FINALLY. There is no controversy, Rogers is your guy
- The defense showed signs of life
- Nobody is more upset by this loss than our team. I guaran-damn-tee you they believe they should won
- Thousands of North Texas alums just saw their squad go toe to toe with a squad that ended last year with a Cotton Bowl win over USC
- I now have a reason to begin my homecoming tailgate on FRIDAY!!!

Win or lose, this team has shown me more than they have all season.
Coming out of the locker room this team could have laid down…and most here expected them to…but they let ‘em hang down and punched back

If I had told any of you before the game “the defense will force two first half turnovers and have a 4th down stop” how many would have taken that and felt pretty good? I know I would.
Of course, if I followed that up with “and the offense will crap the bed” you might begin to feel worse 😂

It is clear what Tulane’s game plan is.
Keep everything in front of you and tackle in space. They’re winning the LOS and getting pressure without sending extra bodies, so they can prevent big plays.

If Chandler Morris starts that game, yes.
But Seth didn’t like quarterbacks that weren’t pension eligible
