Check your sources, according to the ESPN BB PPV schedule it doesn't show anything for NT on their schedule, so let us know if you hear differently. ESPN Fullcourt PPV Schedule PS I'm not sure I'd really want to see this game on TV. Auburn is 10-2 and they haven't been playing cream-puffs like those on the Baylor schedule. They've beat Rutgers (8-3), Southern Miss (6-4) and Troy St among the schools most recognizable. The bright spot with playing them is they lost to Western Kentucky and Western Michigan, maybe us being a directional school will help!! In their last four games they've outschored their opponents 342-234 or by an average of 27 points per game.

On last nights broadcast in the post game show Hank D said Will Smith had a severe leg cramp and was going to be fine. To which George D replied that was one of the worst cramps he'd seen, said Smith couldn't even straighten it out! Awasom practiced with the team for the first time yesterday and JJ said he needed to learn the plays and probably would not see any time against Baylor. I also agree that after the season last year our expectations were probably too high and we're not sneaking up on anyone anymore, kinda like last years football season. I too expect that with JJ and time we'll be contending for the NCAA invitation but not this year.

Granted Colorado is in the Big XII and this is a home game but going into the game tomorrow they are 4-3 and look at the powerhouses they've faced. Cal Poly W 97-69 Stetson W 107-74 @ NMSU L 75-71 Georgia L 71-70 @UMKC W 62-59 Chicago State W 80-61 @ Rice L 80-61 I know NMSU is a good team but am not sure about the rest. Plus the fans are growing restless and calling for coaches job, seems they're predicting a 7th or 8th place finish in Big XII, might be some internal chaos.

Well as a UNT BB newbie fan I didn't know if our ticket office received tickets from the opponents ticket office like football or not. So I contacted the ticket office (tried NT busy for almost 2 days so thought i'd try the SMU office got right through!) Spoke with a very nice man who said typically the visitors sit in sections F,G,H at Moody (see link for seating chart) Tickets are $22 for F $12 for G $8 for H and plenty of tickets available! Looking at the schedule SMU has TCU this Sun and then goes to Lubbock Tues. to face Bobby Knights' Red Raiders. My question is this will UNT have a good fan turn out and do you think SMUs' busy schedule beforehand will help UNT at all? And lastle does anybody remember how many UNT brought last year to SMU?

In tonights games the Sunbelt went 4-5 with the sole loser being.... MTSU, hope we complete the job in football tomorrow to help them with a losing weekend!

I must admit until last year I was not a college BB fan, I watched the Mavs some but not enough to really understand the intricacies of the game. That all changed after going to watch some JJ ball last year. I went to 5-6 games last year and bought season tickets for this year. My question is does anybody know a good source I can read about some BB fundamentals and better understand the game? There is a wealth of knowledge on this board and i'd love to talk/watch some games with somebody who really understands the ins and outs of the game. So if anybody has read something/seen something goos on the web about basic hoops i'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I agree there is much that needs to be changed, but the key is organizing, there is strength in numbers. However work within the system. I agree with Stan there were full classes I needed to graduate but my advisor was able to get me into "full"classes with the stroke of a key. Just talk to the dean and the main advising person and they should be able to help. As far as contacting legislators i'm already working on finding the intricacies of the system to get UNT what they need/deserve. Details forthcoming....

When and where are the practices and can anybody watch?

As a new ladies BB fan could I get a quick review from a veterans fan perspective. I'm probably going to check out some of the games this season and wanted an idea on what to expect. I see the differences between men and women as the following 1. More defensive slower pace than mens game. 2. Less physical in the paint 3. No dunking 4. Lower scoring I'm sure there are more but those are just some that came to mind, but please do let me know if i'm off or missed anything. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the update!! I think I had seen a post stating S. Byrd had enrolled at UNT and was going to work on getting eligible here instead of going the juco route. Has anyone else heard this and can somebody confirm it one way or another, thanks.
