I mean, this is a great example of dealing with people, isn't it? I mean, the definition of how to deal with people is to call them names on a message board and yet refuse to have a face to face conversation with them, isn't it?

Enjoy your convos with Litrell and Hank. Meanwhile, I'll expect more from the worst program in America.

So typical of  your M.O.  Make asinine statements about someone that supports the program, whether you agree with their motives or not, by passive aggressively attacking them on this thread and then criticize their response.  It has been so nice with you on my ignore list.  Then again, your posts show up when others quote them.  Glad to see you haven't changed.

  2. Nice size and speed.  Love how he plays the ball and catches with his hands.  His athleticism is obvious, so could be a sleeper.

I just watched his entire video and took this from it:

The play at the 1:20 mark, the referee that backpedals about 3 yards, turns around runs about 5 yards and then starts limping cracks me up.

The 100 yard run from the Wildcat was very impressive.  Basically ran 100 yards in 11 secs in full pads.

The run at the 3:40 mark was especially impressive.

This looks like an awesome find.

UNT Football Scholarship Spreadsheet - Update 7/15/2016 (found in the UNT Football Recruiting forum)

Numerous changes including removal of the following:

AJ Ezzard, Avery Fortenberry, BJ Ebozue, Christian Flewellen, Cody Hayes, Conor Davis ,Connor Trussell, Dakota Smith, Darin Kyle, Darius Turner, Dee Baulkman, Derris Prater, Gavin Culberson, Harrison Sorge, Jake Davis, Jordan Siegert, Joustin Garor, Kaydon Kirby, Kyle Mealey, Marcell Porter, Ryan Rentfro,Taylor Nelson, William Johnson.

As Billy noted, lots of offensive linemen we've been waiting on for several years are gone.  We also only have four running backs including incoming Nic Smith.  Willy Ivery will be a JUNIOR and we've gotten very little out of his talents.  Hopefully he and Wilson can stay healthy this year.

According to my spreadsheet we have 61 players currently listed as on scholarship.

Please let me know of any changes or updates.

@Brett Vito, time to get to work and find out what happen to these young men, especially Hayes, Turner, Baulkman, Rentfro, Johnson, etc...

Those Hudl highlights aren't TE highlights.  They're OT highlights with a few passes mixed in.

Wonder if he's being brought in as a tackle project?

Based on the article from the Temple paper linked above, I would say he will be playing TE/WR and not tackle this year.  His coach, Bob Shipley (is this the father of Jordan?), states that he runs great routes and has good hands.  Not quotes for an OT.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Back to mediocrity for the phonies. Smooooo now employing our castoff coaches. DELICIOUS

Wish I could share your amusement, but considering who is leading our team and where they have led us, I would take Jank in a heartbeat.

Back on topic, this is typical Larry Brown MO.  Go to a program, build a winner, leave the program, the program ends up with sanctions.  SMU being SMU.  It is sad that the two programs in Texas with the most visible "incidents" of cheating/running a rogue program are tied to the Baptist and Methodist denominations of Christianity.

I guess the way I read it they were including Joe Greene whose nickname was "Mean" which would give off the thought process that somehow it was named after him.  I guess I just don't understand why even do that.  Also, someone on here said who started the "Mean Green" chant while we were on defense.  I think it was a presidents wife or something similar.  Help me if I'm wrong?

Went back and re read it, and it does clearly distinguish.  Nothing new here I miss read something AND look like a doofus.

It was the SID's wife and Joe Greene's nickname in college was "Big Joe."

He has! But he has also, IMO, proven to be worthy of consideration for another HC gig.

It interests me to think about how he would fair under a better budget and AD than RV.

It is amazing to me how much more creative DD's offense's are when he is the OC as opposed to the HC.  He might suffer from what I call, "Norv Turner Syndrome," or "Wade Phillips Syndrome."  Great coordinators that just aren't successful as HC's.

Dickey also was hired after being fired from here several times and succeeded at adjusting his game and improving things along the way, helping lead Memphis to one of their greatest seasons in history and a drafted QB to boot.

    Rick

Dickey has also proven to function better as a Coordinator than a Head Coach.
