Also, Leach was due to receive a $800k retention bonus tomorrow.....now, not so much.

They now have a college apparel store at the Galleria called Student Union....I went in and they had tons of OU, Texas, Tech, Aggies, etc....in there (even SMU), but no UNT. I asked the store manager why no UNT apparell. He told me that they didnt want to carry a small amount of UNT gear because they were affraid of offending us. He said they did that to the OSU fan base by only carrying a couple of things.....I told him as a UNT Alumni, we are use to people not carrying anything....I told him if we even had a small rack with a couple of t-shirts and a hoodie that would be awesome and it would sell...and we wouldnt be offended. I still find it funny when people who live in Dallas ask me about my hat and say "what is a mean green?".

For that amount of time left, I think Darrien Williams would have been a great idea instead....he ran the option a bunch in Vernon as QB and also played defense....could've, would've, should've. I do agree though with some of the comments....if I was his parents, I would be pissed.

I noticed we dont have anything up for Women's Softball, so I wanted to start this thread for them. First Home Game: Fri, Feb 19 Drake Denton, TX 12:30 P.M. Fri, Feb 19 Arkansas Denton, TX 3:00 P.M. This should be a GREAT team this year and fun to watch!

Does anyone know for certain where the La-La Rajun Cajun game will be played next year? It has not followed the "every other year" philosophy as other schools we played, so I just wanted to check with everyone and see if anyone knew. Thanks, Bundy

Not sure if everyone else noticed....but with about a minute to play on the last offensive play of the game....who ever decided to play "Brown Eyed Girl" to get the crowd pumped up on 4th and 21 should be fired.... We know you have Thunderstruck or Welcome to the Jungle or some other song to get us all going....but no, this person plays Brown Eyed Girl....GEEEZZZ....Why dont you break out "Why Cant We Be Friends" next time.....

I wonder if they were all Seniors/Juniors???

trud1966 - I completely agree. It is a sad day in this country when anything called "Indian" is offensive. Children cannot even cross their legs now and refer to it as "indian style". I was hoping that ASU would be more creative and call themselves the Criss Cross Applesauce Warriors....

The way that WKU presented themselves on the field was lacking in class...BIG TIME. I think we just found a transfer school Green and Chatman. Even when you are on the road, you still represent your school....What a night and day difference in opposing player attitudes from Navy to WKU.

I completely agree, if you were there, froze your tail off....and then watched them knock over Vizza on the last play when he went to a knee.... Smack talk is well deserved....

I was listening to the Hard Line on Friday, and I heard the stat that if North Texas gives up 60+ points total in the next 2 games, that we will set a new all time record for the most points ever given up by any college team ever in NCAA History.....

After reading that article, I pulled the autographed North Texas Mini-Football I had signed at the end of summer picnic....Unfortunatley I have Oubre's signature on it. Does anyone have any good ideas for cleaning his name off this ball, I hate having his name on there with other players who understand TEAM.
