I mean, there is plenty of precedent. According to Coach Dickey, at least.

I am afraid some of you are substantially over estimating ACU attendance. I will be pleasantly surprised at anything above 20k.
Add on: Some of you seem to take a crowd estimate as a call to arms. Other than the La Tech and SMU games, announced attendance was much more than actual butts in seats and three 2018 home games announced were under 18.6K . The only equivalent home game in the last year was Incarnate Word at an announced overstated 18,500 attendance. NT announced home attendance was over 18.5k for the SMU, La Tech and a meaningful late season Rice game.
I will be elated if NT reaches the ACU numbers, some of you are projecting, but I am very skeptical.
History is on your side, this is true. Nichols in 2014 drew over 21k and I think all other FCS games were under 20k.
But I don’t think that will be the case this season (depending on weather of course since our fans are delicate flowers), independent of ACU’s alumni .

Back-to-back 20 win season doesn't at least open the conversation? Also, last year's 20 win season was without the help of an extended post-season.
It was with the help of many games against inferior opponents. Last year proved you can easily schedule 20 wins.
We need a fresh paradigm.

I had a good run the last couple of years with Wheeler at the Jack LB, so I will take his understudy Jo-Jo.

NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series is a big deal, especially for up and coming artists.
Did you see his new one “Ivory”? Pretty good

Do the players get paid while in training camp? Are the coaches and trainers in cowboys organization better than colleges?
I believe they get a per diem payment of somewhat over 1k a week.

Their strength is at linebacker. Other defensive positions are questionable. GMG
Apparently DB is a strength:

HS quarterback that didn’t make the transition to WR as easily as Darden did. I hope he breaks out this year. Seems like a good young man.
Maybe we can use him on a trick play?

9th best in TX? 97th in FBS? Am I reading that correctly?
And we actually have a fairly veteran Oline with 3 seniors.

Great block from Kelvo around 2:20 giving the receiver room for another 10-15 yards.
ETA: I know this was an SEC team but man, I hope our O-line has improved. I wonder how many of those drops/incompletions might have been completions if Fine had just a fraction of a second more time on the throw.
Just what I was thinking. He had no time to throw at all.

True, but we also lost a DT recruit to Tulane.
And they have 4 DTs in this class.

Anyone want to break the news to Brett...
“What we haven't seen, at least not so far, is a member of UNT's incoming recruiting class crack the starting lineup.
Cam Johnson and Quinn Whitlock look like UNT's starting cornerbacks.”

Great article. I watched that state final and I can tell you with confidence, Deonte Simpson has the goods to make an impact here.
I have never seen Ward play, but I hope these two are both successful.
I liked Ward’s attitude about his injury and redshirting.

Since we’re talking about more risk, I wonder if Fine’s INTs will increase.
Probably especially early in the season since he is being asked to make new kinds of reads.
If his INTs go up to 7-10 but TDs exceed 35 are we ok with that?

This capability isn’t going to motivate a ton of new people to stare at their phones.
I think people are already doing what they’ll do, this will just make it easier for them to do it.My recommendation would be to have good WiFi for Mean Green Club members only. Even at the $25 level you would get a members-only network inside the stadium.
Have an even better one in the Club for those members.
Everyone else battles for broadband on their phone networks.
Might add 500 new members at the low level? Low-level members help our numbers and can lead to higher donations later.

UTSA is following the RV OOC plan--schedule Southern P5 giants for bodybag games, which they have zero chance of winning and will get our team killed. What's even dumber is not even using the Alamodome and SA to your advantage, like they were doing before with the teams they were playin against the P5s. Enjoy those ass-whippings, UTSA.
Play the P5 game against slow B1G Ten teams or finesse Pac-12 teams, preferably in a home-and-home, but if not, those teams give you a chance to actually survive and/or beat. TCU proved that back in the day in the MWC.
All those P5 games in SA were 2-1 and now they are paying the piper, in addition to the body bad games.
Best decision RV made was the stop the 2-1 contracts.
