I had a feeling neither of last year's backups at LB would start or even hold on to their back up spots. The young guys have too much talent and speed. And yes I see LeMasters at backup Jack, but still...

We are paying him a lot of money to do the shows, so damn right there is a show!

I have no problem at all with an athlete walking away to present his/her health.
What I don’t quite understand is the timing right before the season starts. I don’t follow the NFL so I don’t know the story here, but seems like stepping away before the draft puts your team in a better place. Did Indy draft a QB?

There still in business as of today. Small place though only like 10 tables. Good food. Never had the Torta but heard they good.
Try it. Try both squeeze bottle sauces on it and see which you like with it.

Sir, I need to acquaint you with Boca 31.
I know it, I like it.
Different genre, IMO.

I watch Rodrick play for Buffalo tonight, and I’ve seen English in the past, and if he’s kept his quickness he had on the edge last year Novil may be our quickest NT/DT we’ve had in years.

Agree. And I think Colvin at DE will have a good year. He was a pleasant surprise last season.

A couple of prediction-related observations:
Nice to see a couple of lettermen in those names.
Are we sure @Harry believes in the Mean Green??

Without 2 for 1 series, you’ll never get a bigger name here than Tech or Baylor. Maybe an OSU or KSU, but nothing bigger—-certainly not an Arkansas-type name.
And?

Btw the ad that comes up on this thread for me is for an adoption agency. 😂

Btw the correct answer is La Mexicana for an Al Pastor torta.

Anyone know where I can get some really good Tikka Masala before I head to the tailgate? I like to make sure that my stomach is rumbling before the start of the first quarter.

This is why they try to primarily sign midterm transfers. Fall transfers often fail to qualify or don’t contribute much the first year.

From what I have seen the big chair was done by a buddy of mine out of Denton. He does some good work so if you're looking for some cornhole boards, he's the guy to see! His company is called Taylor Tailgaiting. Check out his link
I have known his wife for years. She was one of my students back in the day.
They have awesome cornhole boards!

Agreed. And a pretty good indicator he probably has that starting job locked down.

Same thought. We frankly shouldn't be.
My only thought is that he is a little slow for DE and a little small for DT.

I mean, there is plenty of precedent. According to Coach Dickey, at least.

I am afraid some of you are substantially over estimating ACU attendance. I will be pleasantly surprised at anything above 20k.
Add on: Some of you seem to take a crowd estimate as a call to arms. Other than the La Tech and SMU games, announced attendance was much more than actual butts in seats and three 2018 home games announced were under 18.6K . The only equivalent home game in the last year was Incarnate Word at an announced overstated 18,500 attendance. NT announced home attendance was over 18.5k for the SMU, La Tech and a meaningful late season Rice game.
I will be elated if NT reaches the ACU numbers, some of you are projecting, but I am very skeptical.
History is on your side, this is true. Nichols in 2014 drew over 21k and I think all other FCS games were under 20k.
But I don’t think that will be the case this season (depending on weather of course since our fans are delicate flowers), independent of ACU’s alumni .
What games will you be watching this week?
