The boys @Evan @BeyondTheGreen and @Harry discuss the end of the RV era, and what the future may hold in terms of a new athletic director.  They also welcome in special guest and Denton Record Chronicle beat writer @Brett Vito for his insight on everything Mean Green.    @TheReal_jayD also pays a visit and provides the latest Mean Green recruiting news on a pretty airplane-delivered terrorist kite of hate speech day for the future of the program.

Good job, guys.  I do disagree that history will look more favorably on RV.  It will in one way ... people will forget about a lot of the little things that people dislike about how the AD office operates.  However, 10 years from now people will look at solely the results and see lots of issues.   For awhile now many of us have thought RV should go and we've said "just honestly evaluate the job he's done".  When that's done it obvious he had some pluses but many, many minuses.

Think of it this way:  In the 100 years of football at North Texas, RV's time as AD saw us go to FIVE bowl games and win FOUR conference championships.  Yet, it's still the worst 15 year period of the program's history.

And all of that, except for one bowl game, was accomplished by a coach he didn't hire, who he couldn't stand, and who he fired and then never came close to hiring a replacement who repeated that level of success.

Yup.

Who is going to get credit for Seat's 3 bowls and conference championships?
