I'm watching the Women's Big East Championship to make sure it finishes before our game starts. I'm getting pretty nervous.....I'll be climbing up the walls soon. Hope everyone else is doing well! GMG

Bump for people who are enraged in other threads -

The Play In IS an auto bid part of the tourney. People don't seem to grasp this. So by getting into the Field of 65 we would have gotten the bid.

I'd been trying to say this for the last several hours.

The Belt's RPI is higher than like 10 leagues as SUMG said. But the CHAMPIONS of these leagues all basically have RPI's better than ours. And no...the Play In game is always between Conference Champions.

I hear ya SUMG. It would be such a beating if we had to play next Tuesday in Ohio or wherever. I HATE the Play-in game. It's only like...6-7 years old right? They only added it because they wanted to keep the same number of at large spots when the MWC formed. Whatever.

The 12 over 5 is the most common upset. The 13 over 4 isn't as common, but it still happens almost every year. A few 14's have won....and only 4 15's have ever won in the 1st round.

Usually 13-16 seeds are all conference champs. At Large usually begin in the 12's.

I sure hope not. They had us down(the Belt) as the strongest 15 last night when they thought it was WKU. After that loss we fell like 7 spots!

The latest Bracketology on ESPN doesn't have the Sunbelt listed...which means Play In game...which means 1 seed if we win that.

Yeah, I did catch that several posts later And I just went to their site...they don't even have the Sunbelt listed now...so I guess the SBC Champion has been demoted to the Play In game.

One of our SLC conference runs where we lost in the Finals. Maybe 1990?

Let's just hope they and alums in the area go more next year. A Tourney appearance should help get it rolling, if we can sustain it. We're losing alot of talent, but we could be pretty good next season as well.

I've said it in about 4 threads now, but I'm so proud of these guys. I'm happy for the seniors. Win or lose, this has been a sweet year for a NT basketball fan.

I didn't read the bracket closely enough. The Regional is in SA - right now we'd be shipped to Winston-Salem.

I know! I thought it was very ironic, which is why I posted it. But all of the seeds and regions are very fluid right now, so who knows.
