I agree with you I want to see all of those opportunities for our school and players as well. I know the players want to play the big programs. All I am saying is lets limit it to one game a year. Realistically though looking at where this program is right now and if you looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year any rational football fan would say we had four losses right off the bat. SMU was supposed to be a bowl team. Ok and Ark are obviously going to beat us and Navy for all practical purposes should base on their program. Not to mention some solid conference teams.

So we continue to dig ourselves out of a hole every year? Let's prove we can win consistently and then play the good programs. I want to see this program move up and play these teams eventually, but not now. Let's give a our player's a winning atmosphere.

I agree we can recruit better in this area, but we HAVE to stop playing multiple games against dominant D1 programs. Let's play one money game a year and stop getting killed by multiple teams we have no business playing.

What a great night for the University, Dodge, and the fans of North Texas. I have my season tickets and we hung around to the very end. I enjoy the tailgating scene and the whole build up to kickoff. Seeing Mean Joe walk ther the stadium was really cool and sitting out on the field watching the fireworks with my kids was just the icing on the cake for me. It was an awsome game. Sure they had their hiccups on offense and defense but you can really tell the program is coming together. The fans are getting more into the game and we are starting to show some consistency with our attendance. Let's keep it up.

Meager is not the answer, but TD is not going to put a Freshman in for his first start against the Hogs.

No matter what the final attendance number is the atmosphere was great. The alum side seemed very full and the student side was loud. The Fans just need to keep coming and Dodge is going to make this team great soon enough.
