  1. We parked in a lot close to the East side of stadium and I believe it was a cash lot and on the grass. That was several years ago and brain cells have been lost as well since then. We will be looking for Green when we park too.
  2. I went a few years ago when we won. I bought through our ticket office last time. I would prefer to sit on the east side with the rest of the Green. However I’m wondering if you can just buy tickets on the visitor side by walking up. Anyone know or have done this in the past? We are staying at Sam’s Town on Friday so if anyone gets a room there just know the will be Mean Green Fans there.
  3. If you turn the sound off you only have to hate being out coached, the refs and the game in general. Rather than listen to the drivel of the fau idiots,
  4. I love the fact that this team keeps winning and is also consistently an underdog. Keep our boys hungry with a chip on their shoulder! Go Mean Green!
  5. I can't make the trip unfortunately...I am hoping by responding to those making the trip to periscope it for us less fortunate. ? I was able to watch the end of the UTSA UTEP game because some UTSA fan did a periscope of the overtime. just an idea...GO Mean Green!
  6. I am trying to hold back and not get overly optimistic, but this coach keeps hiring solid coaches and is recruiting some great kids. Then with the social media stuff...UNTouchable. Each day I say to myself wow! Littrell seems to be pushing all the right buttons. With the recruits he is targeting you have to think other good players that weren't paying attention to us before might now be giving us a look. Keep it up coach. Go Mean Green!
  7. I used the president@unt.edu mentioned above as well. I made mine very personal and focused on how the UNT brand was being ruined by decisions made by Rick and we need to focus on winning in Basketball and Football. Change is necessary!
  8. I usually just read and don't post but I just sent my email to Mr. Smatresk encouraging him for a change at AD. I know most on this board feel this way as well so don't hesitate. Let's continue to flood them with emails and tweets. Just don't leave it here on this board. make the administration know we are serious even if we aren't the big time financial influencers. Leaving Rick as AD is not acceptable! #firerv
  9. Has anyone heard if we are seeing an increase in numbers?
  10. If you have the app tune in radio you can pick up 95.3 from your smart phone. I listen to Rangers games and the ticket from this app all of the time.
  11. In my oppinion this is a good hire. I grew up being an Iowa State fan and I am UNT fan and alum. (So yes my college football experience has been miserable for the most part). I was at the game tonight and have watched most of the games for the Mean Green this year. I think Canales has done a good job and I like what he has done to step in so far. So I wouldn't have been opposed to giving him a shot. However if Mccarney is the guy just keep an open mind. I think it is twice as hard to recruit good talent to Iowa State compared to North Texas. You have to convince quality recruits from out of state to live in Ames Iowa. The Iowa High School football talent is minimal and anyone really good goes to the University of Iowa. Mccarney made ISU respectable again while he was there by recruiting nationally. Building up the Iowa State program is a pretty similar situation to what he would have to work with at UNT. I would welcome this hire and I plan on buying season tickets again for next season.
  12. I voted for Leach even though Norm said it would never happen.
  13. Thanks Green P1. I would have missed it if not for this post and my wonderful 30 minute tivo buffer!
  14. Romo's first pass in the NFL was a pick and it has worked out ok for him since that game.
  15. I haven't parked in the Orange lot before and I was wondering if anyone knows how early you need to get to the stadium? When does it normally get full? Any advice is greatly appreciated. GMG!
  16. If the AD would schedule one money game a year it would make a lot more sense to me. I am tired of seeing our guys get their heads beat in by top tier programs with multiple money games in one season. By the time we get to our conference games our players are demoralized. The Musers were talking about this topic this morning as well.
  17. I am certainly not a huge donor but if they did the brick idea I would be one of the first people in line. I think it is a brilliant way to come up with money for a new stadium.
  18. I hope Riley red shirts but I would put a vote in for the young Dodge kid. Just because you don't know what will happen with our offensive line for Vizza.
  19. Great job!! I am really happy for those players and Dodge.
  20. Let's be realistic whose view were we going to block at this game.
  21. Can someone tell me why we weren't allowed to bring an umbrella into the game? It was miserable out there at the game weather wise. It would have been doable for my family for a while had we been able to bring an umbrella in. Sitting at home now listening to Georgio hoping for a win. Go Mean Green.
  22. The team has to start winning before the students will start coming to the games and staying for the games. That's the way it has always been. Games are just an excuse to meet up with your friends.
  23. When I was watching the game it was a little dissappointing to know that even though we were putting a lot of points on the board it was only a matter of time before Navy took the lead. Two weeks is plenty of time to get ready for the option. It isn't like the coaches didn't know what they were going to do. I do think they should bring in a new coach on defense that has proven on a college level that he knows what he is doing. I don't know who that is but let's start looking now.
