Or we would have more fans if we had more money! more wins = more fans = more tailgaters Do we really want more tailgates? Listening to talk radio here in Austin and the ACC came up. It was mentioned that 7 or the ACC football head coaches were on the hot seat. Including Bobby Bowden. My point is these are teams with winning records, but are expceted to produce. If they do not produce they are shown the door and go on to become coordinatiors or lateral moves. But some would gladly go to a Mid Major to prove themselves again that they can make a program great. IE North Texas. DD had his shot after the 4 titles. It is over. Buy out his contract and take a lesson from the ACC that mediocrity will not be tolerated. 2 cents

Great point. Why don't we have a home and home with TCU,SMU,UTA every year. It just makes sense that travel is almost 0. and fans can enjoy a game that may be closer to their homes in DFW. Also put Baylor on the docket.

I would love nothing more than to run the table, but this is not the Sunbelt of 5yrs ago and this is a young team. I see some wins coming up but ARK state and LaLa will test us to no end. Wishful thinking this year! I will admit I would love for us to run the tables but we need to find an offensive presence. Wilson is good but cant hit the broad side of a barn. Meager has not got the reps! The offensive line is bad!!! How can we run the tables with no offense?

Sorry, There maybe some D2 but the talent level at D1 is so much better. I really would put UNT ahead of most D2 schools. The top 10 D2 may get close but really! Who beats UNT this year? SFA, Texas State, Sam Houston?

It would be great to get an ex UNT guy. Someone who would buy in to the system. I hate the fact that everyone we get wants to make UNT a stepping stone. Get a coach for life scenario. Mitch Mayer, Scott Hall..... just a suggestion.

I live in Austin. Can not make it this weekend. I have Mean Green Premium. But it does not show they are sending out a live feed. How else can I view the game? Any ideas....

UNT 49 MTSU 24 VERY HIGH SCORING GAME.......

I had the internet stream for the Akron Game. When there was a commercial you could still get the audio from the announcers. One was a jerk saying UNT sucked and the game was over. This was in the 2nd quarter. The second half he was not so jovial. Of course he kept saying it was their second string. Which it was not most of the time. The internet stream was amazing. Very cool thing to have.
