The team is shrinking. Only 8 able bodies.

We need one more big 6-7 to
7-0 for depths in the front court . Guards have good size. One more F or P.

From? UNT? George King, Chris Davis, and Jordan Williams are near the top/topping my list. Would have been Jermey Combs but we all saw what he did…
I appreciate your passion for loyalty. These days are a bit different then the past due to NIL. Chris and Jordan may have made the decision to move on due to NIL Please remember and have sensitivity to the need for players to help their families financially.

Perry showed his true character… he won’t touch the NBA…. He is about him. Not the team. Maybe overseas one day….
Who do you like and respect? Give me 3 basketball players.

I am happy for Jelly. I thought the UAB players were good sportsmen and showed respect for our players in the NIT.

Solid squad bringing back the sharp shooters from last year too. I would love to see Hamlet and Geu round out this team .

Blessings to all of us lol!

You must be some old dirtbag that stopped watching the game back in the 90’s and have lost track of how the game is now played.
Blessings to you.

So one of the last two spots is for a wing, what do you think we are looking for in the other? We already pulled a lot of guards.
Big man 6-8 to 7’0 to rotate with Sissoko and Allen.

Lots of obsession with Stone. I mean …I like him of course and want the best for him. But , a little overkill on expectations and comments .

it could be a luxury, but I don't really think we "need" any more size than what is already on the roster.
looking across our AAC foes and really the entire college basketball landscape, save for maybe the absolute elite programs most everyone is running out at least 3 if not 4 guards around a "center" who really is more of a classic power forward.
my assumption on the starting line-up, at least early on, next season:
1. Rubin Jones - 6'5" 190
2. John Buggs III - 6'3" 185
3. Matt Stone - 6'4" 205
4. Aaron Scott - 6'7" 200 (that feels small...he at least plays bigger)
5. Moulaye Sissoko - 6'9" 240
that's plenty of size across the whole floor, especially the way they team defend and team rebound. I anticipate we'll still use a pretty tight 8 man rotation...Allen the Ole Miss transfer is 6'8" 230 and will likely be the primary 4/5 back-up...if Morgan gets his line up to something like 2ppg, 2rpg in 20 appearances, I'll call it a win...Edwards I'm assuming will be the primary bench scorer with Moore growing into a contributing role throughout the season. no clue on Cotton.
with all that in place, my priority with the open spots would be an upgrade to Stone at the 3...an experienced tough 6'5"-ish guard who rebounds and shoots 35%+ from 3 and can play some PF in a small line-up. maybe then a wirey 6'7"-ish high school kid...raw with some upside...I think we're looking for one more immediate contributor and an upside project with the final scholarshipsEdwards will start over Stone.

I am very grateful that Aaron and Rubin are staying. Lots of programs would have grabbed them .

He would be great but we already have two scorers and we'd have to change our style of offense or one would have to do more sitting.
Yes no one wants 3 scorers who can get buckets. That’s a horrible idea.

I think Allen backs up Aaron . It will be interesting to see if Big Chris is ready for minutes at the 5 in relief of Molaye .
