  1. He's listed as playing as late as last November or December. So, his physical stats may have changed, but I'm sure his talent hasn't diminished. Oh man, a potential future Demarcus Ware/Joe Greene player? DE/LB?
  2. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2013/5/24/4362078/college-football-homer-standings-2013 I love how FIU is just blank.
  3. Just an FYI, Harry always links to the full tory at the bottom of his posts.
  4. Does DT have an internet-literate kid brother? 'Cause this sucking up/diss on competition is getting ridiculous. What makes it worst is that you seem to be basing your opinion on tabloid-headlines and never get into the whole story of things. Reading your remarks is akin to watching CNN, Fox News or MSNBC. Yikes. I know you want to make Berglund being from a private school in Colorado his defining factor, but when it comes to resources that actually come highly regarded, this list is all I need. Plus, watching him play briefly at the Spring Game was the only thing that even offered me a glimmer of excitement towards this season personnel-wise. The boy's electric.

  6. This is an amazingly thorough preview replete with up-to-date knowledge of the program. Bravo.
  7. Okay, I'm glad Ramsey is spinning this in a positive direction with the deflection of the award money, but he's capitalizing his image on something he didn't really do. There have been other reports come out that he was auxiliary at best to the whole rescue. But why hasn't that been widely reported? Because those who did go in first, some other Mexican neighbors, are not nearly as sound-bite or video-clip friendly; they don't speak English, are not flamboyant, etc. They're regular guys who did a heroic thing, but won't receive much credit for it because someone else has a better TV personality. I hate the media at times. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/cleveland-neighbor-charles-ramsey-freed-captive-women-article-1.1338192
  8. Who in their right mind would treat this as "ho hum"?? "Now, that is not to say that UNT won’t recruit well this season with C-USA to sell. We are all still on the Dan-Wagon. Keep your hands and feet safely inside as the ride continues." - I'm starting to love Vito's writing more and more.
  9. Yeah... that was.... odd. Me too. I saw the movie these sound bites are attributed to last night (Iron Man 3), and knowing their context makes its application here all the more cringe-worthy.
  10. If anyone still has an answer towards when I should go after the Georgia tickets/plane tickets, that would be helpful and pertinent.
  11. Where do you live/family: Denton; Married Degree/Year attended/graduated UNT: 2013 BM Music Composition (I walk tonight at 7 PM!) Favorite NT Memory: Getting performed; leadership positions like in SGA, President's Sustainability Council and We Mean Green Fund, Composers Forum; doing silly things in Willis during Dead Week; 35Denton: playing at, volunteering for and of course the Flaming Lips show at the fairgrounds. Favorite NT Sports Memory: I seem to have come in the down years, but running the field after the Indiana win was fantastic - especially since we have a little bit of a rivalry with their Jacobs School of Music (we trade off the title of "Largest College of Music in the US" every few years). I can't wait for next year to see us stomp them again in Bloomington.
  12. He left right after the GL2G rebranding campaign (which was the only reason he was hired) to go help Development with National Geographic or something like that. Superb network and friends aside, I wouldn't want him as President. I was in a few meetings with him at the Murchison when we were putting together the announcement for the rebranding, and let me tell you: lots of talk, little substance. I'm still bummed over Rawlins pulling a Pope on us - he's been a superb President.
  13. I do love Shreveport, but the state troopers just don't understand my love - says the guy who graduated HS in Texarkana.
  14. Hey folks, so rather than focusing on graduating tomorrow, I'm caught up in travel questions. So for those who are pro at this: For the Georgia game, when and from whom should I buy tickets? Plane tickets? For the NOLA trip, flight or car? Ohio going to be worth it? I guess in general, would the tickets for away games be already available, and through our own ticket office? Please kindly educate this never-traveled-for-a-game noob.
  15. Aw yes, because Breitbart's spin on current political events can always be completely trusted.
  16. Not sure if lacking context, or just needed to fill troll quota for the day...
