If I didnt have to work on fridays, I would go to a Denton Ryan game.. Its not everyday you get to see the top rated recruit out of high school playing in your back yard. Denton people only care about themselves....

Derek is young but he was in the grind for the starting position as the QB. Did you see the laser's he threw in the spring game and the 2nd pass of the game 15 yards done the middle and it was dropped(what a surprise). I talk to the guys on a regular basis and they believe in him. He had Jackson wide open down field on the last play but the coaches told him to dump it off to dunbar. This guy is a true QB, Canon arm, throws lasers, and accurate. If Jackson would of caught the ball but he dropped it out of his lap, he got a TD, Tune would of still been on the bench.

He was guarding the #1 recruit out of HS. Bowers is a top 15 pick if he goes this year, hes only a jr. Estaban did fine on run plays but Bowers was just to fast, right when the ball was snapped bowers was behind him.

who ever thinks this is a set back does not know who Derek Thompson AKA "D-WHIP. This guy is going to be the starter for the next three years, last week in practice Carneles called out D-WHIP for the player of the week. 6'4 225 drove down on ark st in his one drive. Most importantly guys in the locker room believe in him because of his drive and wanting to be better, and has the pose of a champion!!!!
