Offer Lebron James a full ride scholarship to play BB at North Texas.

TCU Athletic Department announced they are dropping mens soccer after this season. It will be a club sport. Too bad. Now smu reigns as the top soccer program in the North Texas area.

No! No!
It was Sapp(my pick for MVP) and the fact he stuffed the middle so much, allowing others to make plays, indirectly causing the 5 interceptions because of pressure by others.
I get more bonus points than you.

It's obvious from the Super Bowl predictions on this board that Mean Green fans know the importance of DEFENSE.

D E F E N S E! D E F E N S E!

These are the same people that enjoy the right to get in front of national TV at our nations capital and call George W. Bush, Dick Chaney, and Donald Rumsfeld the true "Axis of Evil". To me, people like those protesters calling the leaders of our country the "Axis of Evil" should be jailed for treason.

How was the attendance for both games?

This should have been done three years ago. Campo had no business being a head coach.
You're right. And Jerry Jones has no business being an NFL owner.

Looks good to me. The first thing that sticks out to me is the sparse crowd. Where's the support for JJ and the boys?

Beat MUTS 4-1.

Omigosh! Drinking at UNT?
-
Seems like I remember TCU inquiring into, or negotiating with Texas Weslayan Law School. Anyone remember why the talks fell through?
-
I hope this has not been posted before. Two articles on graduation rates in football and basketball in USA Today, acknowledges that the media(TV)showcase the BCS, putting the pressure on those programs to succeed on the field or court. Graduation, or lack thereof.

An 80 year old man went to the doctor for a check-up and the
doctor was amazed at what good shape the guy was in.
The doctor asked, "To what do you attribute your good health?"
The old timer said, "I'm a golfer and that's why I'm in such good
shape. I'm up well before daylight and out golfing up and down
the fairways. "The doctor said, "Well, I'm sure that helps, but there's got to be more to it. How old was your dad when he died?" The old timer said,
"Who said my dad's dead?"
The doctor said, "You mean you're 80 years old and your dad's still
alive? How old is he?" The old timer said, "He's 100 yrs old and,
in fact, he golfed with me this morning, and that's why he's still
alive...he's a golfer."
The doctor said, "Well, that's great, but I'm sure there's more to
it. How about your dad's dad? How old was he when he died?
The old timer said, "Who said my grandpa's dead?"
The doctor said, "You mean you're 80 years old and your
grandfather's still living! How old is he?" The old timer said,
"He's 118 yrs old."
The doctor was getting frustrated at this point and said, "I guess he went golfing with you this morning too?"
The old timer said, "No... Grandpa couldn't go this morning because
he got married." The Doctor said in amazement, "Got married!!
Why would a 118-year-old guy want to get married?"
The old timer said, "Who said he wanted to?"

Some of us older Greenbackers were at UNT when the "NT marching band" didn't even have flags.
I'm not opposed to using various flag colors.

Going through my morning mail, what do I find? A complete 16-page, full color mini-catalog from Land's End on nothing but Texas Aggie stuff. Hats, sweatshirts, jackets, you name it. What that high profile name recognition can do for a Univerisity. Land's End for crying out loud!

Being a Viet Nam Veteran ('70-'71), I will probably see this movie too. I view VN war movies to see how close they are to the real thing. So far, one of the best is Platoon. If you want to get an idea of what it was like being a Grunt(Infantry Foot Soldier) in Viet Nam, I highly recommend Platoon. Very, very realistic.

Someone(Plumm) needs to email Newsweeks "letters to the Editor" and mention that old Phil is a UNT Alum.
-
...Or am I wrong?
If he is, he's on the cover of Newsweek Magazine. Here's the link.
I scanned the article and there's no mention of North Texas.
-
So why doesn't the state of Texas appropriate funds to UNT so that 4 or 5 more dorms can be built?
It is a sad sad day...

Dude! Dudes! and Dudettes! There is no telling how many computers Dell sold because of that ad campaign. Time to dream up another one. That's what they make ad agencies for.
