No, it is a weird delivery and obviously effective, although I would be concerned about future injuries due to the odd mechanics. Oh, and she would be looking at left field.

Anyway, I love the comments below the video as she is obviously excited to come to North Texas. If she is throwing in the 60's, this is comparable to a baseball pitcher throwing in the 90's, with the movement she has, we will be looking at a number of no hitters.

It is obviously a big enough deal (AlamoDome) that BCS teams are scheduling to visit San Antonio and play the non-existent team from UTSA instead of San Marcos up the road with a long time program. I don't know, you tell me what's the difference and why? And why can't Virginia, Ariz, Az St., Colo St, et al visit Denton home/home against our FBS program?

Because we played in Fouts and UTSA is nothing more than a glorified 1AA at this time. Some of these games will never happen and those that do are done so because it allows these teams visibility in Texas, one of, if not the best, recruiting states in the nation. I bet we can attract a few of these to Denton when the new stadium opens.

Agree with your assessment as to the importance of the Rice game, but I have to disagree with the above. If we win the Sun Belt, the KSU game will be packed. Even if we don't win the SBC, the KSU game will have a good crowd based upon KSU has many alumni in DFW, their fans will travel and it is the Fouts Finale.

I picked the bowl game because that is indicative of having a successful season as a whole. Beating Clemson would be a shocker, but Clemson has been known to falter early in the season. Kansas State concerns me because they return their entire offensive line from last year. Considering our struggles along the defensive line, we could be in for a long day, but I'm hoping to send Fouts out with a historical win.

I agree with the "All of the Team" responses and think that this is their year, but individually I would like to see the following:

I would love to see Draylen Ross have a break-out year just because he has been moved around from TE to D-Line and back to TE, appears to have a great attitude, works hard and is a positive role model for the program.

Fro the success of the team, I would like to see either Atkinson or Jackson have a break-out year at DT. This would help the entire defense.
