Last year the Ball State watching party was held at the Fox and The Hound on Westheimer and our area was pretty full. I would guess 30-40 people were there throughout the night.

Keep? The Joe Greene poster facing I35.
Smash? Nothing really. Even though it is a poor stadium, I didn't know any better growing up. I've always liked Fouts.
First Memory? Sitting in my Dad's lap at a game in the late 60's during the end of Coach Mitchell's era.

Our ladies should play in skull caps with velcroed on pony tails.

anyone copulate at Fouts over the years?

Glad he is being punished, but this is really a sad deal. To me, the real story is the fact that two young men lost their lives over drugs. Germaine, 22 or 23 years old, gets shot and killed over a bad deal, and this young man, 18 years old, gets life in prison with his earliest chance at parole being when he is 58 years old. What a waste.
-
You know what is really sad? I watched the video of the Appalachian State/Michigan game for what has to be the 20th time just now and had never realized that the Appalachian State player running with the blocked field goal was walked down by the Michigan kicker.

Agree with the "good pub" comment, but I fail to see the negative you are talking about. Is the full article seen through the link? If so, where is the negative?
Check out the reader comments. Nothing terrible, just a couple of morons.

Because in order to come up with $5 million they would have to take out a loan on the football stadium, sell band candy, have bake sales (probably in Shreveport and Monroe since Ruston is to small for a bake sale), and have their Women perform unprintable acts, etc.
Problem is this would only net them roughly $2.50, since their women would have to pay to perform said unprintable acts.

Hope to See #11 take about 5 to 10 snaps per game at QB as Tune gives absolutely zero running threat to the defense.
Our #11 in the early 00's didn't pose much of a threat to run and it didn't seem to cause many problems. I just don't think that will be a bi concern this year and that Nathan will do just fine.
-
I would bet this is the crane that will be used to lift the pre-fab concrete pieces that will be placed on the rackers on the West stands. I would assume that the lower bowl will be poured not pre-fab, but that is just a guess.
-
I wish the Tune the best of course. But I'll feel bad for Thompson if he sits out a good chunk of the season only to play a game or two and then has burn yet another year of edibility for minimal play time. I think Dodge playing him last season for a few minutes in that one game was atrocious and self-serving.
The reasons for Thompson playing against Arkansas State are well documented and far from self-serving.

I hope Tune plays the entire Clemson game and is not pulled out at the half when we are up by 21.

Nathan, time to whip Clemson.
-
My guess is that Tune gets the nod (and probable beating) for Clemson and then Thompson takes over after that. I do not think they will start Thompson in the tough situation.
I hope not, because I think that is a crappy way to treat Tune.

Confused..... We're having fun here no?
First post was sarcasm. Sorry, and yes, we are having fun. Much like my comments on us having New York Sub and the Denia neighborhood.

What's the point in knocking TSU-SM down. Their conceptual drawings are great and I really like their current endzone facility. Just a couple of years ago we were touting our conceptual drawings at anyone that would listen. I think they will have a more difficult time moving their project forward than we have, but I wish them well in their efforts.

I would be shocked if Troy was invited anywhere based upon their academics.

I wish I could make the trip to Clemson, and I appreciate the hospitality their fans have extended towards those making the trip. I guess too many trips to Norman and Baton Rouge have jaded our feelings towards BCS schools where the majority of their fans are morons and not quite that hospitable.
I know many of us a looking forward to the challenge of playing Clemson and wish we could take in the game day experience at Death Valley. Hopefully, some day you can make a trip to Denton to see the Tigers play at our new stadium. I think a BBQ cook-off would be in order. I know I'd be willing to judge Carolina Pork versus Texas beef any day.

I'll go with Tune to start against Clemson just because of the experience factor and no other reason.
-
But TSU does have Mamacita's next to the stadium which is just awesome. Aquarena Springs was cool back when they had mermaids and diving pigs (conservation types ruin everything)
Again, big freakin' deal. We've got New York Sub and the Denia neighorhood. Touche

TWC: What?! That's outrageous!
ESPN/ABC: Hey, DirecTV pays us $6.
TWC: They can afford rockets and shit. We can't.
ESPN/ABC: That's why I'm giving you this sweet deal.
I don't care who you are, that right there is funny.

and Cole Slaw is a SIDE DISH, not a sandwich topping. It goes on the damn plate between the beans and tater salad. Get it right !
HOF worthy post right there. FFR and the boys need to haul the smoker to Clemson and show the "Hello Kitties" a thing or two about BBQ.

Gilmartin is a Senior so I don't see giving him a scholly for this season as bad....Next season we will have the one he has for this season to bring in someone new...
I guess I would prefer to see it go to one of our multi year walk-ons that have made a greater contribution to the program and have shown a loyalty to NT, as opposed to a one semester player/student that we will probably never hear from again, but that's just me.

Mathis is gone and Greg Brown moves to the top of the depth chart at U-back per the MGB this afternoon.

How about a little razzle dazzle for a touchdown.
