Thicken up Skladany's moustache, put him in a black hat and a duster and he would look like Sam Elliot in Tombstone.

And Runner comes on and provides Exhibit A as to why nobody wants them in a merger. This is a FCS school with no athletic success to speak of, terrible facilities and a commuter enrollment that exceeds what we were perceived to be years ago bad mouthing La. Tech who has much more history and success.
Now, I am no La Tech fan based upon their comments about the Sun Belt from their administrators and most of their fans, but at least they have earned the right to be an FBS team. UTSA hasn't unless you count beating Bacone State and handing out tickets to any and all that want them.

That was my first thought Harry. This could be bad news for ASU.

Thanks for the write up Harry. I don't see anyone taking Boutwell's spot at DT. He was our best one last year and will continue to be. I love that young many's intensity.

Don't think we should throw stones.
After all, these guys couldn't find Lubbock when starting from Houston.
Seems to me we had several student athletes who couldn't find the classroom while living on campus.
Just sayin...
Yep, and a number of our students couldn't find Apogee late in the year.

The government coverage would insure that there is a minimum "safety net" for all while still allowing those who can afford it to get better care.
However C&T, doesn't medicare/medicaid already serve this purpose?
The government coverage is just a "safety net" now, but I see unfair competition in the future with the government offering full coverage.
Medicare/medicaid, the government runs this program so well just like Social Security, the post office, Amtrak, etc... Are any of these government run businesses not in bankruptcy?

Yes, fortunately OBCare Isn't a tax, it's a penalty, and it's unconstitutional.

Why did they give him #14? That brings back bad memories of a transfer gone bad.

As a member of the Greek community that really hurts. I go to every game, yell and cheer until my voice is gone, drink to the losses, and drink twice as much to the wins. However, I love college football and love the Mean Green even more. In all honesty, from what I have gathered, the only way to gain student support (both Greek and non Greek) is to win consistently. That shouldn't be the case but that's what it is. In the mean time the athletic department should do what every business in Denton does to attract students: PROMOTIONS PROMOTIONS PROMOTIONS!! Since coach Mac has come to UNT the promotions have improved dramatically but can definitely be improved. One of the best that I saw was when the sun glasses were given out. Students loved that and I know more promotions like it would boost attendance.
Welcome aboard. Look forward to meeting you in the fall or maybe at the Spring Game. What greek organization are you a member of?

Great seats. Wish it was pizza instead of Sonic, though.

Just a gut feeling, but I think Coach stays here.

He has stated this more than once. Are we sure one is not available, or is he counting Patton's?

If she goes, do we keep her recruits?

Couldn't we hire Johnny Quinn as a grad assistant to work with these kids on catching the ball?
