Screw Spring Break...bring on May 9th! I am in trouble...

Today was by far her worst game shooting wise. She also played less than normal.

If they didn't hit Nedny, Pittsburg would have had the ball at the 28. Even though it was only second down.

They shouldn't have run into the kicker.

My assessment of the evening: Men's team: played poorly Women's team: played poorly Denver men: played poorly Denver women: played poorly Refs from both games: go to the optomatrist. No one deserved to win either of those games today.

We almost found out how Miami feels.

I thought from the beginning that this was a rebuilding and retooling year. Winning those first three and getting our hopes up is starting to hurt. By the way, I would pay money to see LSU and UConn play.

A couple of thoughts: 1 - Many students are at home or on vacation 2 - We have shot poorly all season. Has to change...and fast. This is what happens when you are as young as this team is.

I was at the women's game - report coming - but did hear the JJ interview. If we are as injured as it sounds, and our bench was as short as it sounds, we played a heckuva game tonight. A 25 point loss looks bad, but with out 4 players, 3 that get significant time, you have to be able to see a light there. Plus, looking at our schedule, we could have a legitimate edge oner some of these teams with who we have played - tough. Just a positive look.

I am still pending on whether a friend comes in or not. I know he will want to watch football and play Xbox. If he doesn't come, I will be there. But, sadly, I wouldn't expect a big crowd. If memory serves correct, it was bad during the break last year.

I thought the Ladies outplayed IU tonight, but their shots just wouldn't fall. If both teams shoot 30% from the floor, then we win. If we hit our 3's like normal, we win. Just a wierd night. It was eerie. Is it Firday the 13? No, this is only Wednesday, but Friday is the 13th...maybe that's it.

Like I said, TCU was very agressive. Much more so than us. That forced many of the NT turnovers.

CD looked better in the second half. I think he may be out of his slump. We can hope. They caught fire as they hit shots that were defended like they should. You could not defend it any better, but it still looked easy. These two teams are very even. The difference was the guard play as they were bigger and played a more physical game. For some reason, the stripes wouldn't let us play as physical as them. I don't know why...maybe we were actually fouling, but I do know that what I felt were the worst calls came at the most inopportune time. But, I guess that is how it happens. I thought we would win until 33 for TCU got hurt. It was innocent, but it charged them. I still felt we had a shot, but was uneasy the rest...apparently for good reason.

I hear that they are serving the students pizza tonight. when does that start? Around 6? Thanks

No one had an answer last year when someone brought this up. I still don't, but that doesn't mean much. I figure there is something behind it though...

I graduated from Sanger and was gone when Amber & Co. won it all. The Sanger program is young and I think the championship season was only their third or so. It has been competitive every season though. I have never seen a softball game though, so I will definetly have to check it out.

Count me in. I love excuses for study breaks!

The old apartment complex was torn down, along with all of that strip that had the Pickup. Also, places rarely look as big as they usually are.

That is their 7th home loss in 4+ years....maybe 4th loss in 7...I don't know. But I do know that THE MEAN GREEN WON AND IS 3-2 ON THE SEASON COMING BACK TO OPEN ON A NEW FLOOR AGAINST TCU!!! And the football team get another celebration for their second champioship and bowl.

I plan on it.

Agreed Zeke, the only 15 wins I care about are after the season is over anyway.

I am not a basketball coach, but why do you change your style with 13 minutes left to go in a game? And once the other team starts to get back in it not go back to "your" style of play? The Mavs lost this game, the Lakers did not win it. It was still in doubt however until the jump ball call where one official had a foul and the other a jump. That was the final straw for Dallas' camel. But, 17-2 is still tops.

Oh crap. I totally forgot there was a game tonite....
