Just talked to a friend whose in-laws from Baton Rouge are here in Texas. Three brother in laws are still in Baton Rouge waiting to see if they are going to have to board up theirs and their parents houses and head to Texas. The weather forecasters in LA are saying Baton Rouge is probably going to get the rain and the hurricane force winds. Someone said earlier and I will say it again, we need to keep the people of LA, AL and MS in our thoughts and prayers. The next couple of days are going to be a living hell for them.

I was truly offended. Sometimes people on this board forget these are just young people/kids. Calling them names doesn't make the situation or their injuries better faster. Also, some of the players along with their parents read this site. If you have kids, stop and think how you would feel as a parents if strangers were calling your kids wussies and sissies.

MeanGreenPop, don't expect to hear much from Charley during 2 a days. These boys are worn out and a lot of times are in bed by 10 p.m. Once things really get rolling they will practice, watch film, have team meetings and position meetings. When classes start on the 29th, then you add classes and weightroom at 6 a.m.

Its good to see nice coverage from CBS, but someone needs to do the research and get facts right. Half of the classes on the players are wrong, they have Jermey Brown as the starting center, not as the starter at right tackle, and if i may ad didnt and inexperienced quarterback lead the Mean Green to a bowl victory in 2002 after Scott Hall tore a peck muscle. Good coverage is nice, but in my opinion correct coverage is better

The coaches coach! Why should they also be held accountable for filling the stands. Are professors paid according to how many students come to thier class? The athletic director and his staff along with university operations should be responsible for filling the stands.
