Yep if Dodge wanted him he could have had him. If he wants to show up in the fall and give it a shot I wish him the best of luck but when no one offers a ship including his former high school coach walking on or playing at a lower level may be his only hope.

Right on I'm always happier when people get fired than when good things happen like promotions. Come on people maybe some of the crap the athletics department has done over the past few years was disturbing and pointless but at least they're trying and taking steps in the right direction.

He's got to be 4 but I'm sure they have to bring him up when you trade 5 player for 2 it leaves a few holes even if Stack does re-sign and they make the deal for Wright.

There isn't a benefit and the only possible one is a ring any thing short makes this trade the disaster we all think it is.

It just kills me the worst traffic I've ever been in there was the SLC V Allen game last year followed by the Big XII championship game in 2001.

I've always hated that I deal with worse traffic when we play there or even high school games with 20-30k than for sold out cowboys playoff games. I've never figured out why they direct traffic differently for special events at Texas Stadium than the proven easy in easy out way they do for Cowboys games. I agree I don't want NT to play there but I practically grew up in that stadium and I really will miss it.

It looks like most everyone here is on th same page questioning this deal I and I agree right now I'm not really liking it. I think we're giving up the future in Harris for one shot to win and I personally don't really think Kidd puts us over the top and guarantees a championship. It all come down to rather or not the Mavs can win a championship this year or next if they do the deal a success if not the mortgaged the future and got nothing in return. Do I like the deal today no because even with Kidd I'm not sold this team can win it but it does give them a better shot this year so I'm willing to let it play out and see what happens.

Your right if some one buys me lunch I don't really make any money and it doesn't put me any closer to buying a new house. But every penny I don't have to spend is money in the bank. Does road game money go to the new stadium fund no but it does go in to the athletic departments operating budget and any money in program can only help our cause. So where's this property your talking about.

If you've noticed the guy works for scout. If you check the scout ranking they list NT as having the best class based on their point system. So do you think this guys brilliant rankings came from that or tireless hours review the classes.

The point is we would still have to pay to travel to Miami. So even in the two trips cost the same with this deal we come out 100k ahead. Odds are travel to Baton Rouge is cheaper than Miami so we actually come out even farther ahead. I do agree I'd rather play Miami than LSU. Miami is down currently so it would be more a more winnable game but in the quest for a new stadium every extra penny counts and 100k is a 100k.

I agree with the first post that the writer had no idea what he was talking about. He then goes into talk about the other who recruits listed as Qb on scout. I know he's not a recruiting guy but can't they hire someone local like Brett who knows about the program and class to write about us.
