  1. Agree 100% need to fund it that way!
  2. The Mean Green Collective is only for basketball. I like football but basketball is our best chance for national recognition.
  3. Win or lose this program makes me extremely proud. I wish Buggs could get more looks in the 2nd half. Great evenly matched game!
  4. Jason Burton was a home run hire for the University of North Texas women's basketball program. It was clear from the moment the Mean Green hired Burton away from Texas A&M Commerce that he was the right person to lead the team into the American Athletic Conference. Even knowing that, it's likely that no one expected North Texas to be as good as the team has been so far this season. The Mean Green sit at 16-3 on the season and 6-1 in conference play. The only losses have been to Texas A&M, Montana State and Charlotte in the first game of AAC play. The team's won six in a row since, including victories over SMU and South Florida. And those two wins are notable because the teams were expected to be the cream of the crop in the conference. USF was selected to win the AAC in the preseason poll, while SMU was picked to finish fourth. UNT? 12th out of the 14 teams, ahead of only UAB and FAU. 5. Wow what a huge night for UNT basketball. Super pumped for the program and the future!
  6. I agree but I do think he has had a fairly easy schedule thus far. We will know more based on the remainder of the schedule as there are some very good teams he will have to face.

Feel like N Texas is grttimg away with some fouls on D too. Missed our last 3 breakaways. Should be even with them now but cannot score. 13. The lawsuit alleges a Texas Tech booster bought alcoholic drinks for Isaacs and a teammate. They were in a room with two girls, ages 17 and 16. The lawsuit says Isaacs and the 17-year-old went to another room, where she was sexually assaulted after she "attempted to fight him off." According to the lawsuit, Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland was contacted by the plaintiffs Dec. 14. McCasland reported the situation to athletic director Kirby Hocutt and other university officials, it says. Texas Tech did not immediately respond to ESPN's request for comment. 14. I don't know if you could tie his contract to it but I think he should at least have to make a sizable donation to the Mean Green NIL.
