Oh I’ve followed him well! He’s only labeled as the Memphis OC for pay purposes. He only serves as the assistant HC in a mentor role to Justin Fuentes and Coach Norvell. He does not call the plays which has been fortunate for Memphis. His role has been discussed multiple times on the board even confirmed by an ESPN article. He’s the last person you want as a play caller. There is a reason Justin Fuente didn’t take him to VA Tech!

Dickey at SMU, this is great news!! For UNT's future games against SMU they wouldn't even have to worry about defending against the forward pass, only worry about the 3rd down draw. Additionally, Dickey wouldn't even try to win because our match up is not a conference game!

No doubt there is an argument to be made about CTE. However, I truly don't think CTE will have that big of an impact on Football. As long as people watch the games and generate fame and fortune for players there will always be someone next in line to put on a helmet!

I appreciate the efforts of the AD to get some feedback! I reinforced the merchandise issues and was able to address the lack of pride and effort by the Green Brigade (Uniforms etc)!

I'm loving this thread guys!! Obviously a lot of former Paratroopers in the forum. I even got an "Airborne all the way" in the thread so there are some fellow 82nd Airborne Division guys here!

I'm an active Duty Army Officer and I understand where you're coming from. However, as a proud UNT Alum I have no issue with cheering against Army at all. If we pull this off I can't wait to talk some smack to my West Point peers and subordinates!
