Well as a fan that lives 1000 miles away from Denton now, I cant even tell you how much it means to me to be able to watch my beloved Mean Green on TV. But aside from my selfish reasons, I would think having televised games has a positive impact on recruiting... which leads to more wins... which leads to better attendance.

I actually had a physical reaction to seeing Greers name there. Cant decide to call it a flinch or a wince.

His knowledge of the offense is SO extensive... they had to go out and have a helmet custom made for him.

Okay then - how about this logic... Any 1 dimensional offense is going to have a tough time being successful. Thus, a better QB wont necessarily FIX the run. But a better QB will HELP fix the run. If a defense lines up with 8 in the box and dares you to throw it... you gotta be able to throw it. Otherwise, they stack up against the run all day. If you think any RB is going do better against a stacked defense - well that is poor logic. Hell you also have to have the kind of WRs that can beat press-man coverage and an offensive line that can pick up the blitz. Team game. Takes more than just a stud RB - but that sure will help too.

I think you still have to try your best to win every single game you play. It wouldnt be fair to the Seniors to go about it any other way.

What I dont understand - is why is there not more of a buzz regarding Quinn Shanbour? I havent seen him play. But from reading the reports by the guys who watched Spring workouts, it sounds like he has the strongest and most accurate arm... the quickest release... the best speed... and is showing the most potential for strong leadership of any of the QB's. If this is all the case, why wouldnt he at the least be as big a part of the conversation as Connor Means?
