The owner has been organizing this trip for Roadrunners for quite a long time and is a member of law enforcement. I doubt fights or literally burning things down would be in his/our best interests

    Great and about time. We will probably have new stadiums at the same time. Oh and going by UNT90's logic you haven't earned the right to play baseball...you need to earn it. How dare you play CUSA baseball in your first season! Disrespectful

    We are always supposed to go 0-12 remember? Every win for us a big win. Every week its another team stating how their 100 years of football is somehow going to will them a victory. We've beaten the teams we could. The original arguement was about UTSA and they have 0 percent shot to compete with UNT. That argument is done the moment we beat Tulane, a team that beat you No sure where all the Big 12, SEC talk comes from. We are rational fans and most of us picked a sub .500 record this season. If anything some of you participating in this debate think you're somehow far superior to every team. Learn how to act at the top. You're not Alabama

    Not happening. We actually have people who care about our school and will not allow a spiral into mediocrity ala UNT. Season tickets have increased year over year and we are currently 2, 500 over our average attendance through 5 games than 2012. There are other sports that matter besides football. Track and field has always been a strong sport for UTSA so I makes since that they address a stadium that gives them instant respect nationally. The Roadrunners have already won a CUSA championship in cross country and soon to be crowned champs in Volleyball. UTSA won the WAC in Baseball last year does UNT have a team?

    There is absolutely zero reason to hemorrhage money on a new football stadium when we have a perfectly good Dome to play in. UTSA is building facilities in their new Park West complex. Like I mentioned we already have a new soccer stadium and a top notch track and field stadium. Soon we will add a basketball arena and baseball stadium.

    This is the new standard on how to start a football program. UNC - Charlotte is following UTSA's lead and they will be a full member in CUSA in 2015. I understand it’s hard to grasp how a 3rd year team can be on the same level as a 100 year program. It was hard for our ancestors to accept woman’s suffrage years ago too. Texas State struggled with this as well. The fact is UTSA and UNT are already competing for the same recruits and some of those recruits have already chosen UTSA over the tradition laden UNT. Although we do not have the tradition that UNT, Texas State, {Insert any school} UTSA is already competitive on this level and will soon match everyone in facilities.

    We had several injured players on offense including our #1 and #2 running back. We definitely struggle without those key guys. Our most electric player was out vs Marshall and the offense was grounded

    Check again bud. Weight room is built and Park West is ongoing with phase 1 complete. The new soccer stadium has been created as well as the state of the art track and field stadium.

    Yes only 2 but the trends are the same thus far. Home games 4 and 5 have the lowest attendance while the first and the last are always the best.

    Cool I agree. The issue is that UTSA has yet to have a bad season considering everyone thinks we are only capable of winning 1 game a season. ODU just beat Idaho for their first FBS win this weekend. It took several seasons. UTSA won its first FBS came last year as a team of mostly sophomores. Based on the early success of UTSA in the WAC last year and in CUSA this year I see no reason why performance would wain in upcoming years. UTSA and UNT are already battling for the same recruits. We are right there or possibly just a step behind. Everyone laughed at UTSA preseason but I think we are proving that we are able to compete right now. UTSA will be a factor in the west for years to come. San Antonio’s support of this team is growing exponentially and ticket sales should as well. My philosophy is to root for the conference. I want UNT to continue to do well because it’s great for CUSA. That includes not only record but also attendance. Hopefully the fans are buying into what McCarney is doing with this football team. The best way to tell is to look at the season ticket sales next year.

    Excellent logic professor. Lets talk again after the season when the average attendance rankings are out. As of right now UTSA is still averaging over 30K and UNT with this week's game should be around 22-23K Our last home game is always a big bump

    No substitutions allowed but if you upgrade to a large combo you get an extra parking pass. Worth it
