Somehow I doubt that the Pacific Conference will gain P5 status immediately. That might put SMU back lower than they left.

Just guessing but I believe that the ACC is looking for three to replace the future-departing Clemson, Florida State and North Carolina. If I had to guess, I'd choose Tulane, USF and Memphis as their replacements.
What would the AAC do if that happened? I'd raid the Sun Belt for three teams. My choices would be Marshall, Appalachian State and Texas State.
If we had to leave due to dissolving the AAC (which I sincerely hope doesn't happen) then North Texas and UTSA should look to the PAC?/Mountain West. I really don't think that it will happen because Commissioner Aresco has most of a billion dollar contract with ESPN. If anything, I believe that he would try to add Air Force, Colorado State and New Mexico (they have played good basketball).
Another choice would be to get two or three very good basketball schools who would elevate their football programs to the FBS level.
Somehow, I believe that Mike Aresco will keep us alive as the #1 G-level conference. I believe in him.

I don't quite get it. What happens to the truck if a player doesn't live up to expectations? Does the next player get a used truck? If the player meets expectations does he get to keep the truck at graduation? Does the collective have to buy 85 new trucks each year? Or just the amount of trucks to replace the graduating seniors?

It's not built in the style of North Texas architecture which is modern Georgian. Give it a tan outside with less glass. Put a horizontal passageway in the middle on both sides don't have to walk down 60 stairs to get to their seats. It does look better on the inside than the others but needs a lot for a stadium of that size. Next to lastly, this was supposedly done by Artificial Intelligence and it can't spell North or Texas.
Note: This refers to Version 2. I don't care much for 1 or 3. Lastly, if we don't start winning we might need to find a way to reduce the size of the current DATCU.

To me, that's much better than Sidelines did. There are a couple that I would move but otherwise pretty sound.
Since it affects us, I would swap places with us and UAB. We beat UAB in last year's final and I believe we've made several improvements. I believe that they're downgrading Coach Ross without how heavily involved he was in coaching UNT the past several years. They also downgraded for the loss of Tyler without looking at the replacements.

I would think that Navy would have more TOP because running plays use up more time than pass plays. That's especially true if they pick up a first on the third or fourth down play.

Ironic that you should mention Jason Bean in your scattershooting reference because on the way to Denton we were listening to the Kansas game and the starting quarterback for Kansas was injured and his replacement came in...Jason Bean. So, he is still at Kansas in what must be his last year of eligibility.

He is really good at that level of play. I could see him at DE if he added 25 lbs without losing speed or maybe learn to play linebacker. He seems to have good speed and quickness.

I hope that most of the FBS will join with TCU in this cause. Very few of the players have a name at this point and even far less have an image and likeness publicized. I know that it's hard to expect Congress to do anything positive but I hope that this will be the exception.
Regarding the Light the Tower Collective, I believe that it has disbanded. A few of the group formed the Mean Green Collective for Men's and Women's Basketball and in three days collected $100,000.00. The creator of this board, Harry Miers, was part of that group. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the collective group for football was turned over to a group that does this for a living (the same group that collected $4 million for Houston?).

Harry, a hundred thousand kudos to you and the rest of the collective for an outstanding job of raising the money for the basketball NIL (Men and Women). I'm glad that this was done for basketball because they are the most in need to get the best players and you have to make decent offers or we'll lose ground in one of the best basketball conferences in the NCAA.

I'm not too fond of the "nose bleed" section (above the entrances) but I'm now handicapped and can't get up there anyway.

I'd have to rate FAU #1 since they return everyone from a Final Four team. However, I keep my eyes on Memphis. They had the 5th rated recruiting team this year, including a 5-star guard. Some see them as a Top 10 team. I see us as third, in spite of losing the best player in the NIT (and likely the entire country). If Coach Ross can restore the skills of former 4-star recruits Niland and Walker and improve around the post play with Old Miss transfer Allen; add in a first team Juco All-American; a total of four potential 40% 3-point shooters and we're going to be tough competition.

I believe that Nixon is the one that got the big bucks. I understand that Nixon's wife recently had a baby. It looks as if they may have made a decent investment...he's the third leading tackler on the team.

It won't be a total eclipse so it will not be that dark at any time. At worst 20% of the sun will shine. When the sun is 80% covered will be the darkest. Will likely require that the stadium lights be turned on.
