Also, this year's coaching pool feels a lot smaller than normal so guys might be getting bigger opportunities a little more prematurely than usual (e.g. Chad Morris).
This is why we're friends!!! He's a 7-16 HC

Actually Ark State lost the godaddy.com bowl vs NIU in 2011.
I know a lot of people here don't see it happening but I was the only person who brought up Frank Wilson as a HC and no one knew who he was. Maybe I might have been right like a clock is right twice, but just don't be surprised.

Oh, and Hugh Freeze was a one year head coach at Ark. State too...
-
Its a "what have you done for me lately" job, turning a program from a 1-11 season with 64(ish) scholarship players to a possible winning season in one year. Others will take a look, just like what we did with him. If he gets an interview, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to the top of the list.
Everyone thought that we were 3 seasons out from having a winning season and he possible might be doing it in one. That's nothing to take lightly... Gus Malzahn was at Ark. State for one season before he left for Auburn, that was also his first head coaching job in college.

Odds Littrell gets hired somewhere else? Will we have to cough up more money like UH did, obviously not to that extent but if/when he gets 6 wins, someone will take a good look and Wren better have that checkbook ready

I've got a sick kid and a couple of tickets we can't use. PM me if you want to go to the game.
Ah, thanks for offering but I watched the Cowboys instead.

I still have the itch to go and see the game on Sunday but I know I'll be disappointed like watching the tech game. The struggle is real

If we only still had Cooper Jones... He'd save the day.
Hell yeah!!!!! He's always open on the seam

Losing Wilson for the year will be why we won't win 6 games. Our season is on his shoulders and he isn't playing. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see it happening

What channel?

I hated UTSA's in game entertainment. It felt like they had TV timeouts for a game that wasn't broadcasted on TV

I watch football for fun. I don't need to see nonsense like Kaepernick's ridiculous behavior. Go make a difference on your time off, not at work. I'm so sick of politics with this never ending election and everyone crying foul about everything all the time. I'm glad none of my teams have these disrespectful protests. Kaepernick is drawing attention away from his team in a sad attempt to be relevant again.
While I'm on a soap box, my neighbor turned on Christmas lights last night. Seriously? In October!!!
Off my soap box...
Guess you're not a fan of the UNT Women's Volleyball..lol but I completely agree with you, along with the Christmas lights..lol

I agree with King, propane would work best. I couldn't fit my propane fryer in my car, I forgot to mention that.

Turn off the fryer and let the oil cool while the game is on. Pour the oil it back in the container with a funnel or you can pour the oil in a freeze bag

This is definitely a concern I have as well. What generator do you have?
We had a ryobi 200 watt generator
Dont worry, while no one else actually answers your question and gives you suggestions that you already knew, I got you fam.
Besides King, he keeps it 100 too

I've tried having a deep fryer out there and it didn't work. My guess is that the generator didn't have enough horse power because the oil wasn't hot enough. I was trying to fry a some bacon wrapped onion rings for burgers.
And I just used a basic deep fryer, not a commercial one.

Biggest turn around by a group of players I've seen from last year. Last year the safeties lead the team in tackles, which isn't good, but this year the whole unit is making huge plays and deflecting passes. Even though they look like they're about to give up a big play again. They never take their eyes off the wide receiver's eyes and they're putting themselves in a position to make a play. Big props to Reffett and Brown!!

Yes I had all the same issues. The Rice folks should be ashamed about that. They took their in stadium video feed for the game and after about the 1st quarter got the audio synced up. It was God awful. It was like when North Texas would do that about 3-5 years ago. Super bush league and terrible.
Side note - did anyone catch the Rice analyst make the comment when one of our guys went down injured at the one yard line saying, and I am paraphrasing, "well I hope he isn't hurt but this really affect Rice's momentum and is bad.......I'm trying to be sensitive." or something along those lines. My wife reared up and asked if that guy seriously just said it was a bigger deal that it stopped Rice's momentum and not the injury. Tell me I'm not the only one that caught that. I almost started a thread about it.
Definitely heard it, and wasn't a fan of the color commentary guy. I understand being a homer but every time he had to give credit to North Texas, he was biting his tongue the whole time.
That comment was very unnecessary coming from the booth, as a fan, you can say that, but not on air.

This team has heart and computers can quantify that. Huge can of Coach Ekler, that man gets his players ready to play and makes them believe they can do anything. Ekler and Perry are the first ones congratulating the players, not just a little slap on the cheek but they're getting rowdy down there and the players feed off of it.
Huge prop to the coaching staff for getting ready for the game. GMG

No, this is exactly what UNT wants. If UNT is getting their coaches poached by other schools, that means we're hiring the right people, which is good.
And this is exactly what @tmjerm was saying about us being a really good lilly pad
