I've been reading your posts for a while. You're in serious denial. WE ARE NOT COMiNG BACK TO CUSA! Especially with the likes of UTSA, Middle Tennesse, Florida Atlantic, Old Dominion and many other terrible schools polluting CUSA.
Also for greenjoe who keeps stalking me, I am ex-UNT and I currently go to UH. So stop asking around the site like a creepy old man, especially considering that you're in your fifties at the youngest.
I wish you were an ex-GMG poster too. How can we make that happen?

Maybe someone should persuade CUSA to kick out FIU, FAU, and UTSA and invite back the other schools that left for the BE.

Um. you do realize that Houston, UCF, SMU and Memphis are all still members of C-USA and in turn the potential to revoke the memberships of UNT, FIU and La Tech among others is not out of the question in the realm of possibilities?
I for one hope that those 3 schools stay in the CUSA because I would love to play them each year.

This feels like week old news. When the Big East lost Rutgers and Louisville, then immediately added Tulane and ECU, it signaled that the TV deal numbers had come in and were much lower than promised. The Big East WILL swallow up the old CUSA. It remains to be seen if Tulsa and UTEP head out west, or join them. Either way, CUSA will be nothing more than the old Sun Belt after the 2013 season.
Well at least this saves me from buying season tickets.

Yes. Both they and Florida Atlantic are going to be in C-USA.

Did I miss something where they got an invite to CUSA?
I'll state the obvious here but if more Belt teams join the CUSA it doesn't help the prestige of the conference and I get less and less excited about our new home.

Fact is per UNT and THECB, the merger of UNT and the HSC, similar to A&M and Galveston, UH and UH Medical Center, UTMB and UT, would give us $60 million in research, $220 in endowment. Fact. You can dispute it and claim your numbers are better, mine come straight from the source, yours are ambiguous, outdated and unreliable.

By the way, Tech and UH both count their endowment for the whole system, dumbass.

Not to blame the refs but I am so glad we are getting out the sunbelt. That first down call was horrible....not even close.

After reviewing the Kansas State game again, I could not help but note all of the bad calls made in that game. Or, good calls that were overturned without indisputable evidence. Most games will have one or two now and then. But, sometimes you have to wonder.
I found this video on youtube with the following GAME CHANGING non calls, or questionable calls made in that game:
1) Block in the Back and Holding non calls on KSU kickoff return for TD
2) Missed Face Mask Call to end UNT Drive
3) Missed Hands to the Face call that tore off the helmet of UNT's #48.
4) The "bobbling catch" incomplete call overturned in review for KSU TD. WOW.
5) UNT's #8 held on KSU #7 scramble
6) Pass Interference call on UNT#35 when it looked like a clean play
7) KSU 3rd and Goal play marked short but overturned in replay.
I think 1-6 are complete BS. 7 is dependent on where the goal line is. If the goal line is the outer edge of the white line then it's a KSU TD. If the goal line is the line where the white lines meets the endzone then it's a very close call. What does GMG think?

I hope they don't come to CUSA...that gives us a better chance to get a better school. I hope they're not holding out on a better offer from another conference.
