I never understood why these players put on other team's decals on their helmets?? does anyone know?
It's a badge of honor, something that's being going on for many years. Construction workers do the same thing with their hard hats - switch company logo decals.
Didn't see many others with the North Texas plastered on other helmets. THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S TOO MANY CHARACTERS AND TAKES UP TOO MUCH FRIGGIN ROOM ON THE HELMET!

Im pretty sure he is. What time is the game?
It's on now. ESPN

Isn't Dylan Lineberry playing in the North - South game today?

We need the "Barber Shop Scoop".That's where the real "in the know" stuff comes from.

No doubt it was close, but keep watching it over and over and you'll agree that the proper call was made.

Complete with the sound of a Jaguar drowning!
The branding gurus are at it again. Gotta wonder how much money was spent on that crappy logo.

Think I'll mosey over to the Tulsa board and see what they think about their new coach. They damn sure better be looking over their shoulders with this guy Graham. He's liable to accept some other job before the weekends out.
-
But didn't he just sign a CONTRACT EXTENSION? Are these not binding in any way? If not, then what the hell good are they and what's to keep Dodge from taking the Rice job today? Other than his son having one year left at SLC. College football is starting to reek, just like the pros.
-
Pretty sorry of Graham IMHO.
You got that right. I thought Rice just signed him to a new multi-year contract?

As of now, the battle in spring practice appears as if it will be between Woody Wilson, Daniel Meager and Matt Phillips.
I would think that the RS Freshman Tune will get a look.

he was the back up to Chase Daniel at SLC, and started his senior year passing for 4600 yards, 56 tds, and 9 ints, he is 6'2" 212 lbs, and 3.9 GPA.
Hmmmm. Not bad.
WOW!

O.K. I'll play the dummy. Who's McElroy?

I posed the Gandy question to the La Tech boys.

Ole Nate must need to lean on Tre' so he can support the old mans' drug habits.

"The addition of suites, club sections and loge boxes will add about 2,000 seats, increasing the stadium's capacity to 32,000."
$39.5 mil to increase capacity by 2,000 seats.

A Houston station did pick up NT football games the past two seasons. In fact, I was able to listen to a game or two while driving around Beaumont with the wife. Reception wasn't the best, but you could follow the game. With Dodge being from the Beaumont/Port Arthur area and all of the press he's been receiving, it would be great to have a station down their pick up the games.
-
He also gets the use of a car. The car allowance is on top of that. It's a standard deal. DD had the same deal. In fact, DD's terms were the same as TD's except for the base salary.
I post by the seat of my pants and you come to me with facts. That is so unfair.

I cannot believe North Texas does not furnish Todd Dodge an automobile. All we give him is $500 a month gas and maintenance??? Rediculous.
-
It's official. Kragthorpe gone to Louisville.

"bunch of undersized, slow, overachieving high school players like Justin Padron. Cherry picking a guy like him is OK, but I'm glad to see Dodge is chasing some high upside guys who have yet to reach their ceiling, too.

Great video. Thanks for sharing.

I live two hours south of Lufkin so info on that area is pretty decent when it comes to football. There are several very high caliber 1A recruits that come out of Lufkin each year and North Texas needs to tap into that market. Another big recruiting area is Jaspar and Newton. It's good to see Dodge at least reaching into those areas.
-
And I believe an All-State OL is seriously considering NT also.
You tease. Tell me more, tell me more. Or, go to the recruiting board.

Anyone notice how rough and haggard our players look in the game day Program? I really hope that TD and staff will pay attention to this detail. I would like to see them in white shirts, ties and sport coat with hair combed (if longer)! It would also be great if a tie and sport coat could be the road game travel attire. I think its a sign of a "team" and shows respect (for themselves and opponent), discipline and business like focus. Anyone share these thoughts?
Oh, yes! I was in on the other thread with exactly the same wishes as you. At least have pictures in the program with the players wearing a sport coat and tie. A nice "son of worm" lapel pin would be a nice touch too. As for traveling, ideally I would like for each player to have a sport coat and tie on; all business.

With all due respect, Rick, I think you're a little light on the 10,000 number. I will say that I did not attend the NT vs So Miss game, but up to that point I'd say we brought 10,000-12,000 for Colorado State and 15,000 for both Cincy and Memphis. We had damn good attendance by NT fans at those games.
