Another reason softball should be your favorite NT women's sport.

Wasn't Indiana the game we won, after being down in the first half? Thinking of the early season afternoon game. Opponent was in the sun the whole game and we were conditioned for it.
Back Jack, do it again.

I could read that guy's story 1000 times. There was a great video story in the Tulsa World that looked at Mason and Jason's friendship in high school and the hopes they had to play college ball. Think it behind the paywall now, but I watched it and shared it a lot while they were here. Mason remains one of my favorite North Texas players, as much for how he carried himself as his play on the field.

Winner tonight will have played two. And not many double headers this season. Let's go tourney undefeated.

There’s a pic of Gunnell on the field, but no mention of his in game action. Did he not touch the ball?
That picture was during warm ups, I believe.

Excited about the UNT branded C.O.D. fire truck. Memphis had a Memphis-branded fire truck outside of the Liberty Bowl when we played them last season, I got pics. Don't know where they got the inspiration, but I expect the NT truck will be at all home football games.

A national champ, a conference champ and a 7th inning comeback all on the same day. Pretty good day for NT athletics.

North Texas is pretty, pretty good at Polo, and has been for a while. And for those that have disdain for that school on our Southern border, they were best in Texas in 2022, beating $MU in the championship. This weekend, they will play on @ESPNU as the number 1 seed in the UPSA D1 Nationals.
Question: if that jersey or something close was available to the public, would you buy one?

ADLER's hypothetical is thought provoking.
It would be interesting to gauge citizen interest to see if they would be any more likely to attend a game at a city-owned arena than they would be an on-campus venue. I suspect it wouldn't make much difference, but I may be wrong.
That said, a city partnership interests me because it hasn't been much of a athletics partner, IMO, over the first 133 or so years.
We currently have a mayor that is NT athletics friendly. We should welcome that and sort out options that may be good for both parties.

Will require a three-week hiatus after the last conference tournaments to fill out the brackets.

Cheer for the Black and White.
Victory's in store, whatever the score.
Our team will ever fight.
(postgame: down the corridor of years, we'll drink lots and lots of beers)
