Really appreciate this. Excellent production and video add-ins. Recruiting coverage this season has been the best ever. Thanks to all.
Let's see if we can get @BillySee58 to sMile every once in a while.

I think that the Tongan community has a long reach. Coincidence maybe but I ran a half marathon in Maui few weeks back. As I do in every other race, I wore a North Texas hat and tech shirt. I got at least ten Go Mean Green's (more than I got North Texas) during this race, almost all from folks who appeared to be Tongan. Most were volunteers at aid stations, firefighters, etc. I think the Tongans in Hawaii pay attention to where their brothers are playing football.
Love the consistent passion and hard work I see when I watch them play football, first brought to my attention watching Trinity and Brigham Young.

Maybe 139?

I suspect the coaching here made it a little bit easier. Let's call it a draw, and see which team plays better that day.

There was a decent overall crowd on hand tonight, and a really nice student section, so of course we shat the bed.
Corollary: I watched some of our best games at Apogee and Fouts with 3500 or so of my best buddies.
Lance Dunbar vs MTSU comes to mind.

He had 62 tackles, 7 pass break ups and returned 3 punts for TDs. The athleticism is there. The highlight tape needs some work.
Facts suck.

Thank you sir. Quinn is one of ours. I can't recall a time when Quinn wasn't smiling. He always seems to be enjoying what he is doing. My family was at Via Grande one night last season or this one, I can't recall, after a game when a whole bunch of Shanbour folks came in for a post game meal. It was fun to briefly observe you all enjoying the win together.
Wishing Q great success at UC Davis. I just became a fan, and it is an acceptable move for him since they are no longer the Mustangs.
By the way, if you are a wine fan, watch the movie Bottle Shock. UC Davis has a nice cameo role.

I'm impressed with the number of visitors that have already committed elsewhere but are here to see what we are doing with current resources (this new coaching staff and conference) late in the recruiting season. Let's get a few.

Interesting players don't want to announce on the day of the NC.

Any ideas when the AAC announces its football schedules? Looks like they announced 2022 in mid-February, but wondering if it might be delayed with the new league alignments. We know (or think we know) we have Cal on 9.2, @LaTech on 9.16 and ACU on 9.30. We have UTSA, Memphis, UAB and Temple at home, and Tulsa, $MU, Tulane and Navy on the road.
Hoping to schedule work or family trips around some of these away game weekends.

To provide a little historical context, I first uttered my "wrinkled $100 bill" analogy about North Texas students, and their penchant for bitchin, BEFORE Hayden Fry arrived and started/introduced the concept of giving/donating to the athletic department
That was the inspiration for my profile picture, SE. Thanks!

It would be interesting to see the stats on the members of this board who donate and who buy football/basketball season tickets...it would probably be frightening.
Often thought this, that we voluntarily put in our nameplate what we donate to the program each year on tickets, MGSF, etc. I'd be the first to admit my number isn't as high as I'd like it to be, or even as high as its been in the past.
My biggest giving years were during the five-year period where I paid for the continued right to buy club seats but that was also when I made good on my commitment to give more when a new stadium was built..
But by identifying donation levels, it would add context to the posts complaining about the Athletic Department not spending enough money on a particular coach, or marketing, or a program, etc.
Not much of a fan of Mr. Sanders style but he got it right on this one.

I'll take this endorsement, both of them in fact. Speed, solid 3 stars.

That is still the case, I understand. I am not even sure they would have allowed me to buy 12 tickets even if they had them (the bowl site allowed a group purchase that had to be done by phone, not online).
