He really is. When the weather is bad, I know there will be at least two fans at the game. Jack and whoever else he brought with him. And I will be there to witness him being there.
Mr. Fincher, may this birthday be better than the last and not as good as the next.

It feels this year that we don't have a set QB because it is a close race with three legitimate options. In the past few years, I think we had a serviceable QB that they waited to pull the trigger on, hoping the 2 or 3 would emerge.
Big difference, IMHO.

Right there with you, brother.
I would argue some of those on the Hill would make there way into a bit of a game or two, if they could go in and out. I also think it would help get a few more in to see the Senior Day celebration, stay for a bit, go out, grab a brew, come back in for the Drive, as an example.
May lose a few beer sales, but get more butts on camera.

Is that the before picture?
(seriously, I have a deep affection for Fouts, but the only things I miss are policy-related, i.e. in and out privileges and kids on the field to bring the players back on for the second half)

Might have missed this discussion, but who will the ACC take as they fill anticipated holes in its roster of teams?

Don't know about how scrimmage went but I believe it started 3 weeks to the minute from game time.

Anyone seen the NT pop-up shade tent at Costco? Friend sent me a crappy pic, $189. What I could see is it has a picture of DATCU almost filled (probably the Houston game). He couldn't tell me other pics it had on it, but it looked interesting.

Come on, guys! Give me a break! I've got somewhere between five minutes and five years left on planet Earth! And, here you are scheduling us to go to the other team first. The odds are that I won't still be alive for the return visit. How about scheduling home first?
You were literally the first person that came to mind when jayD started this thread, @GrayEagle

Agree. Work with the largest employers in the city. Become their team, their school in their town. Do that often.
And btw, those of us that are on the train may consider opening an account at DATCU. I have a national bank I have been thinking of kicking to the curb. Now I will.

One reason SUMG suggested calling it The Dat. No TCU. Or even the Big 12's newest: CU.
The Dat, it is.

I'm a second to third day invitee, so low on the donor list, they didn't even spend the extra money to affix the DATCU graphic to the email.

Disclosure: the hint is googleable. Penn Relays were a really big deal back in the day. North Texas State shows up a few times in its records.

If the financial support is worthy, I don't care what he who will pay it wants to call it.

The trophy icon says Thanks. The one I give says thanks for your service, but really means you are a Winner. There are a couple of folks on this board that earn, not type, the title of Winner. You are one.

"Undocumented folks in the country illegally" are more important to a country that can't maintain or grow its population without undocumented folks who are let into the country illegally. As the story goes. Or with a population incentivized, or at least enabled, not to contribute.
However you feel about that issue, demand your elected pols enforce its laws, or change them.

But wow....couldn't tell from the story. Did Mason play the entire game?

I always preferred the stuffed, and still do. Exactly the same product, including the cornmeal in the crust. The regular slice was always second choice, but the usual, based on costs. These days, I can more often afford the stuffed, plus it is perfectly sized in a single serving.
I had not bought a single slice or whole pizza since the Sanger location. Just gave up pizza. The Tomato made a triumphant return, and I jumped back into pizza adoration. But it is the only pizza I buy.
