if the case, exactly why it shouldn't be mentioned. for starters, it's a dumb observation, even if it did influence those doing the hiring. irrelevant is irrelevant, and I have a hard time believing that RV/others looked around and asked, "hey, what's the race/gender scoreboard on DFW area women's college basketball coaches?" just dumb and trivial, not really news. I also doubt that by and large, recruits aren't that shallow.

Slight error...Army is independent in football, Patriot League in everything else. Doesn't change anything, but I guess worth mentioning. 2012 will be fascinating if more of these little programs come on line in Bowl Subdiv. If we don't go anywhere (God forbid), I can see the Sun Belt divisioning off for football and less travel to the east in that sport. Maybe us, UTSA, Texas State, ULala, ULM and Arky State in West...Troy, Muts, FlaAtl, FlaInt and WKU in East. Wonder if anyone that direction is trying to move up, too? VERY worried about OL and DL if we don't get some people healed and/or up to speed by late-August. By default, very unproductive spring in those two areas. Nothing you can do. Hollivay, Jenkins, Horton...please show up ready.

Adams and Hill, really like those two. Also, Jackson is a light-years upgrade at KR/PR over Roman...nothing personal toward the latter.

I dunno. Doubt Meager would lose backup spot to an injury to his non-throwing arm, and it doesn't sound serious. Not sure how much of an opportunity would push Tune to No. 2, but I guess it's possible. Hey Miller, DeLoach, your effort is much appreciated, but please...can we NOT snap our starting QB like a twig before summer?
