  1. somewhere, I have to be laughing my ass off at what a tool you are.
  2. Do we have "preferred" or invited walk-ons, or must they come to us first? Seems he'd be a good one.
  3. I think, technically, it would be four total from that class. Wasn't Fentriss a semester transfer in 2007 and then sat out that season? That would put him as part of the 2007 class, like Stradford and other transfers with this class. So, Fentriss, Dibrell, Walker, King. Missing anyone?
  4. I like that we really have some pull in the middle of prime recruiting real estate for other SBC schools. I wonder if it pisses off some of our league brethren to go that far into the Southeast when we've got Texas to recruit, too.
  5. This same post the past few weeks is a bunch of tired crap. To repeat, I'm pasting an earlier post (with update) that refutes assertions we have too many WRs and shouldn't keep signing them: What is this plethora of WRs you speak of? Returnees by No. of catches: Lott Dickerson Roberson B. Johnson Redshirted/unknown commodity: Rucker Taylor Barrett Brigham Jamel Jackson (special teams specialist injured, never played) Mid-year guys: Outlaw Jamaal Jackson (damn, that could be confusing) Stradford (not until 2010) True freshman: Mayberry Carey (don't know if he'll play WR or RB...or QB if things get unhinged there) That's 13 available next season without Stradford and not many catches or much experience. If we get down to other walk-ons not even mentioned, we're in trouble. You seriously underestimate our level of need at this position, given our current predisposal towards attrition/injuries.
  6. He's running on fumes. Don't be too disappointed.
  7. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Still think we don't need Stradford?
  9. A momentarily lift to the spirit. Hope it leads to something great. Link.
  10. You just contradicted yourself. That's called "contact" and the rule says it's prohibited without the release. You can't go out to lunch with the coach or hang at his house and pretend to talk about the Hamas-Israel war.
  11. I really hate that guy. I hope the feeling is mutual.
  12. I think he mentions that option in the blog. Pretty easy to assume their first preference is a scholarship at a new school, right?
  13. The rule explicitly states it doesn't matter who initiated the contact. Other than "we can't speak to you without a release," it can't go any further. He's got to get the release, meet the coaches, maybe go through a workout, get a physical, get his academic paperwork sorted out; there's a million things that have to happen first, starting with the release before anything. There's some smoke being blown here, definitely.
  14. Your drum needs a new lid, since you've banged a hole in it. Blah, blah, blah, Finchy, we get it after the 5,000th time. Dodge bad. Coaches bad. Players good but hamstrung 24-7 with bad coaching. Nothing was Vizza's fault. Every one of his 36 picks in two years were the fault of some outside force beyond his control. He beat WKU twice so he's a god. Look, I liked him as a QB, too, but he'll never be able to win anything with you hanging from his neck. I'm so relieved people like Mr. Vizza make sure you enlighten us daily. Vomit.
  15. Can't wait to see where he ends up, if the NCAA even lets him have a scholarship. Link.
  16. Good for you and Vito. Hope you'll be happy together. His story gets in some national publications, and we just look like another program full of weed freaks and dumbasses. I'm glad you're so proud of his accomplishments. You should frame his story so you can cherish it forever. Some people on here obviously idolize him.
  17. Interesting, he comes out and says college wasn't his bag. Link
  18. I think it's something to do with having the regular redshirt still available. Jenkins still has his, if not mistaken.
  19. Congrats, Casey. You got screwed last year by not being on this list then. Better late than never.
  20. Riley, maybe Mathis look like only two that will be designated "medical" http://www.star-telegram.com/college_sport...ry/1047576.html
  21. Classic case of being under the wrong influence of a older sibling. Helps when you can actually look up to your big bro for the right reasons.
  22. Sounds like DeLoach really got after Joel. He and Dodge sound pretty unsure about Tobe keeping his nose clean.
  23. that rings a bell, Euless. something about him not remembering running for the winning TD or something. ended up in a pile with a bunch of Tongans piled on top of his noggin.
  24. He also went to the doctor that week and was sat down for nearly two weeks. He didn't practice the whole week, maybe one day. Ding to the head is not a medical diagnosis. The kid didn't get the full effect until they were back from Houston. He had a concussion in 2006 in a playoff game, so it's his second one. You guys are unreal.
