Yrah, and Boise's exposure has set them apart. We are sort of starting to see the same thing at UCF. Which is great, good for them.
But...the Toledo's, SDSU'S, NIU in their multi year heyday, Marshall, LaTech, Fresno, even USF and UH, MTSU, etc. etc. all have pretty strong programs either currently or recently. But they get just about 0 exposure. Unless you're skulling your conference and making it to the NY6 bowl, you're irrelevant and get no exposure. And until people in the right places push the envelope it will never change.
You know when these teams get the most coverage? When they beat P5s in the OOC portion of the season. That is something we have not done and MUST do to get real national respect.

How are we burying the lead here? He's throwing up the "horns up" hand sign....is it possible to cut a player mid-season?
Uh...actually, that is a little weird.

How was the game stolen by the refs? The denied touchdown?
wow, that team had some serious stars.

I really hope the team comes out loose and just plays how they love to play.

Making font look like it has an eagle beak on every point is a bad idea. Also, at freshman orientation in 2005 one of my classmates described that logo as looking like a laundry detergent logo and 13 yrs later that 18 yr old is still correct.
As @Peacock says “UNT - now with bleach!”

I don’t think you can argue much with it until we prove them wrong. We haven’t proven a whole lot based on who we have played, other than we are better than last year. Even a bad Arkansas is a better team than we have beaten in a very long time. What team have we beaten in last 2 years that’s better than Arkansas?
Army.
But your point is still valid and I agree. Even a bad SEC team will have good athletes with size. An upset will be incredibly difficult.

I tired to purchase tickets this afternoon through ticket office. They informed me that they were indeed sold out. I had to purchase through Arkansas ticket office. I was still able to sit in the visitor section.
I wonder if it was sold out or it was past the deadline to return unsold tickets, since you were able to by from UA in that section.

Don't think we have but 1 more available. Several Blueshirts counting towards this class. Not sure exactly who.
Should just be two Carroll and Redfearn? Or was the late DT signee also one?

What the holy hell?? 😮

Find a new dad to casually talk sports with. That one doesn't seem very knowledgeable.
Almost all college football fans are not knowledgeable about us or other G5 schools - especially CUSA and the Belt.

FCS games are a home win that counts toward bowl eligibility, just like for all the big boys that play them. It became necessary bc of the body bag scheduling, perhaps they go away in the next few years. But no one should feel ashamed we play them.

They were not going to overlook us. Morris knows us too well.

1. Running game is still a concern - expect Ark to drop back and cover and force us to prove we can run effectively.
2. Gardner so far looks like he has taken his game to the next level.
3. Taylor Robinson is off to a slow start. Rarely heard his name called in two games.
4. Torrey looks to be the best RB out there and will continue to get more time as his pass protection improves.
5. Defensive line is playing pretty well (although admittedly against mediocre competition). A big SEC O-line will be a real test, but our size and talent is better than we have seen in years, especially with the ability to keep Young on the end.
6. Really happy for Hedlund.
7. A couple of bad drops by our WRs, but damn they are talented.
8. Darden was better in punt returns this week.
9. I still wish Fine had played only the first half.
10. CBs played well, other than the one double move. Several incomplete passes due to blanket coverage and the two picks were great.

Don’t like it. They’ll be ready next week
I think win or lose, they would have been on alert for us because of the tight game against CSU and because of our game results and stats. Maybe they will be a little more hungry because of this loss, but they also might lose some confidence and it we can hold a late lead against them, they might be disheartened.

Not to mention the pressure Fine was under all night?
Exactly. I didn't see the OL as a bright spot. They were pushed around in the run game by a FCS team.

Anyone else try to watch the replay on ESPN+? I can find pretty much every game in the country listed except ours. If anyone found it, help a brother out and post the link.
thanks in advance.

We often talk about doing what TCU did - finding good athletes and putting them wherever they fit and can make an impact. Well, this seems to be one of those projects that paid off. Hoping Tre Siggers at S (converted RB) and Chumley at TE (converted QB) pay off similarly.
