I don't think it was a call. I did not see it as a call when I watched the game, and after watching the replay, I think it's maybe, if I drink tons of green koolaid.
There. I said it.
So consider this an opportunity to explain - you or anyone here - offensive PI to GM. I'm all ears.
I'm in the camp that believes, just because there were hands on the defensive player and then some separation, that doesn't mean there was a push and, thus, offensive PI.
I see legal contact with hands, and then a WR that made a play for the ball. there was visible separation simply because Texada's momentum continued along the original route/path, and Texada didn't jump up and away with him. I don't see a push. I see legal contact with hands, then an outstanding jump away from the original route to make a play towards the ball.
EDIT: you can go to the exact snap in the stadium replay @ 3:21:00I watched the play last night, Texada was in the same foot stride as the WR until the hand contact. When you see the WR push, his foot path is significantly altered away from the ball. To me that is the emphasis for PI. I’d be saying the same thing if I was a UTSA fan and it happened against them. It was a bad bad missed call and that is not the green Kool aid talking. I also saw it live.

I have seen much, much worse no-calls.
Me too but two wrongs don’t make a right. The call should be the call. Some UTSA fan was telling me they shouldn’t call this because they didn’t call it all game. I don’t agree

He should be given a 2 year extension. We will be guaranteed another bowl basically and he will have shown his ability as a coach.

I don’t mind the number on one side of the helmet. Does that mean I’m old and grumpy or young and fresh?
Yes

Maybe try Jim Hobdy's Texas battle flag on the helmet for something different?
Honesty this helmet but replacing the number with the battle flag would be amazing. Still overall I like this new helmet

There were many twists and turns in the saga of Nathan Tune. He was a walkon from Celina who was eventually put on scholarship. He was a backup for most of his career and almost quit due to celiac disease and the depth chart. When Vizza left, Tune decided to hang around to backup Riley. He finally got the starting gig in his senior season because Riley’s arm was so damaged by then. Two games in he dislocated his hip, ending his career. Then his dog, Ray, went missing. Not long after that, our starting transfer receiver from OU impaled himself jumping over a fence trying to get away from a pit bull. That made the legend of Ray grow. I don’t know if he was ever found or if he was chasing Tyler Stratford but it is all part of the legend.
As an aside, I had forgotten how much (to use a Seth term) adversity the 2010 team faced. We had mega injuries but also had a player die and a spider bite in addition to the impaling. https://meangreenwithenvy.typepad.com/blog/2010/10/injury-plague-week-6.html
Man being an RA at the football dorms from 2008-2010 let me just say I have some stories 😂

And we play in Arlington in early December. With the way that team looked last year, there's no reason why that shouldn't be another home game for us.
i agree, its just not a true home game

I am renewing my season ticket today! i always love to support this team and our great coach. Kind of surprised we only list two non-conference home games. Southern Nazarene on 11/7 and Omaha on 12/3. Really hope we get a few more home games. I understand teams are afraid to come to the pit. Seems like we usually have a full schedule out by now...

Oh I know. It always happens this way though. Seth’s weekly press conference is an embarrassment though, softball tosses for a bunch of fat boomers eating BBQ who live in Flower Mound.
Go to the show and let Littrell know how you feel. I wish more people would do this

i am a diehard. Imagine the average fan. If you want to nuke your fan base, feel free to keep him on
