I agree with all that you say. I just want to add my two cents. As I read his bio, something else stands out to me. Him being from Lawton, there is a 95% chance that he is an Army brat. He has mainly stayed around the Lawton area from college through coaching with the exception of what seems like a year at Ga Tech and one at Austin Peay. Looking at the Austin Peay gig, I can see him taking it for a couple of reasons. One it gives him the chance to be the head man at a D1 program and two Austin Peay is in Clarksville, TN which also happens to be the home of the Army's 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell, KY. Maybe he feels comfortable around Army since he most likely grew up around it his entire life. North Texas gives him a chance to get close to Lawton and he can continue to coach at the D1 level. Although Denton is not Army, people in the DFW area are pretty patriotic for the most part. I mean we can spitball all day about what may be in his mind or what may keep him here or get him to leave. I choose to believe he stays and just want to enjoy the ride.
He's for sure earning his money after this game. They've beat 2 top 10 teams already. This program has a chance to be the 2020 decade Women's soccer!

I agree. They are trending upwards. All these calls for her head are uncalled for. She is doing amazing things with a bunch of Freshmen and a depleted roster. If anything, she needs to get a new S&C coach to help these girls get through the season.
Next year though👀 with experience from this year, they could be top 5. Including the incoming talent

FIU had 12 days to prepare, so I'm glad we came out there and punched them so hard they couldn't get back in it

Such a long way to go to get to that point though. An NCAA bid would obviously be the ultimate. But, an automatic NIT bid would be a really nice consolation prize.
I would love to play them again on another neutral court. They aren't anything special minus Fatts Russell
