Damn, got a puking Eagle on this post alread.  Was it because I praised the former staff, gave you my honest assessment of my son’s talent and work ethic, statement on my son wanting to compete to make this team great, or did you fat finger the emoji? Would you rather me bash the Littrell staff? I will not. They gave my son an opportunity to get a free education and he will graduate in May and start his Masters.  For that, I’m forever grateful and I wish those coaches and families good luck.

I know what my son can do as well and know his work ethic. If you fat fingered it you can disregard this message and kindly change it to what you meant. If you did mean it, why don’t you quote me and let me know what I said to make you puke.

Don't worry about it too much on here as there are a lot of trolls and burner accounts made exclusively to cause strife. People love to downvote, puke emoji, etc anything. You could post "The sky is blue today" and still somehow get a downvote. For all we know, it was an SMU or UTSA burner account.

This is interesting.... Perhaps a future portal pick up? One can hope as he has some friends over here as well.

A WR from Nebraska currently looking for a new home. Pretty good offers out of HS as well.

Hopefully Morris can bring the best name in College Football to Denton

I’m not normally a huge fan of these comparisons but this really stood out to me. During Littrell’s opening press conference he said that he hired defensive coaches based on whose defenses were the toughest to score against, from his experience. I remember not liking that comment and feeling it was overly simplistic.

Later, during I believe the 2020 season, our defense was struggling and he was asked by Vito or someone else specific questions about the defense and his response was “I’m not a defensive coach. You’d have to ask them.” Coming from the head coach that is an atrocious response.

Today Eric Morris, when speaking about defense and special teams talked much more in depth about how he learned in his previous HC role how important it was to put a solid game plan together there and what it takes to really be effective there. That was arguably the most impressive thing he said today IMO.

We hire HCs to win games, not just score points. Morris has really said the right things to understand he is coming here to run the whole program, not just “tee it high and let it fly.”

Agreed. Morris feels like a breath of fresh air from his demeanor, to the way he talks about the game, and his energy and excitement about this place. #LittrellForeverOut

I think some people, like me, want(ed) to get out of town ASAP.  Make the world smaller.  Establish some space between themselves and their family.  And want to keep that space.

I think other kinds of people like the idea of staying home and don't relate to the above.

It's a thing everywhere. Growing up in El Paso, you couldn't have given me a full ride to attend UTEP. I just wanted to get out

Just recording here that the saying no right now will be complaining if new QB comes in using growing pains next year.

I would rather go through growing pains with a new QB than wait for a 30 year old Aune try and figure out how to hit a wide open receiver in stride and not just throw it in the dirt

I follow recruiting for most of the Texas teams and Sonny is going to do well in the portal again. TCU just landed a 5 star receiver from Bama. Warning, some of you are not going to like the group that SMU is going to sign tomorrow. According to the recruiting services, this is probably their best haul ever.

They have basically become Little Coral Gables
