Glad to see that they picked it up towards the end, but damn the result hurts. Waste of a good crowd.

You might start looking then....it appears this is a done deal. Sorry to see the Sub Hub go, but if we are honest...it isn't now what it once was. With the cash the owners will be getting, if they wish, they can certainly reopen elsewhere. I hope they do, but in all honesty...since the subs are not what they once were, I go only about once a quarter now and only when I am on that side of town anyway. No special trips just for the Sub Hub for this guy any longer. Don't want to "spoil" the wonderful memories I have of "back in the day" when it was the pure example of awesomeness.
I don't understand all the love for NYSH but maybe that's just me. I went there a few times '14-'16 and never thought it was any better than [insert a name here] sandwich shop. Slow and overpriced, but thats just me. They also have NYY stuff on the walls. Go O's 😂

Guyton was never going to make the combine but I'm shocked about the other guys. They're serious talent.

The unraveling at Baylor culminated in the firing of beloved head football coach Art Briles, the resignation of athletics director Ian McCaw, and the demotion and eventual resignation of university president Ken Starr in mid-2016.
There's something so rich about Ken Starr having to step down because of allegations of this nature. The universe works in mysterious ways.

There are plenty of good content people out there, and I'm sure some would like the stability of working for a university. This is not as big of a deal as we think.

Smart is shooting the 3 ball 29% on the year. His green light needs to be turned red. Grant has to force him to put the ball down.
No matter how much Grant yells in his face, he still takes dumb shots. I don't understand what is going on. We need Duffy back yesterday.

When do Bowls start to matter? Because even with the NIT only something like a third of teams play in the postseason in basketball...versus well over 50% in football.
there are also too many bowl games

We look like a low end NIT team at best. Maybe we can win the CBI this year and pretend like it matters.

This team takes dumb shots and has no game in the paint. Beyond infuriating to watch.

The NCAA got so mad at Alabama, that it gave Missouri a postseason ban for a crooked tutor. Seems less serious that what happened at UNC a couple of years back, but there you go. Isn't there a FBI investigation going on at KU?

Pry him away from Wazzu and not only does Littrell burn his bridge with Leach permanently, but probably also puts Leach on the market. If his Athletic Department cannot outbid "little 'ol North Texas", he's outta there ASAP.
You'd have to think that Mike Leach, a professional who has been in the college football game a long time, would understand. This is just how things go.
If this guy wants to move up in the world, he's going to do more than be Wazzu's WR coach.

Tell them to go because we are playing.
The entire state of Texas is full of fair weather t shirt fans. Most of our attendance woes can be mapped to that issue. Even when we win, casual fans just aren't interested in seeing us play CUSA opponents.

Yeah I agree with that, but if we could schedule some area opponents that would be great. Idk if Wren has tried to schedule TCU or SMU, but that would be amazing if we could land some series like that in the future.
21 hours ago, Quoner said:It would be really cool if we could get some kind of local DFW tournament with us, TCU, SMU and maybe even UTA and rotate who hosts it each year. What do you guys think?
The new Dickies Arena in FW would be a great venue for a DFW tournament.

Well... the Star-Telegram is finally giving us press.
This is why you have to lay the hammer on bad behavior.

Really dumb on his part. The video is brutal, and classless.
Some level of suspension, at the very least, is in order to serve as a reminder to the rest of the team that questionable behavior is not okay, and to police up their social media accounts. I could see this ending up in a dismissal however.

42-19 UNT at half.
the crowd has trickled in.

They renovated less than 5 years ago. So it's probably just that. I'd settle for a set of new lights, and new court side advertisements in the Pit, and taking those ugly ass Wells Fargo logos off the court. But it seems like we're intent on getting a new facility in 10+ years over any incremental improvements.
