I couldn't agree more. Our secondary has me worried too, and I worry that SMU will run those 5 yard slants and complete a bunch of passes for 8-9 yards. Couple that with Martin hitting the outsids as fast as he does, I'm fearful that SMU has the raw speed to exploit the NT defense. Did anyone see how Martin was blowin' up and running over those TT cornerbacks? They definately came out fired up, and I know NT will be. It should be one hell of a 1st quarter!

As a SBC team, you don't travel to Norman to come home with a win. I believe that the speed Vizza would see against OU would better prepare him for college-level play. Sure, he might come home with 2,3, or even 4 INT's, but trying to learn by watching film is so much more fruitful when you were out on the field under center. I believe starting Vizza against OU and Arkansas gives us the best chance to accomplish our goals, to win the SBC and a bowl game, even if it is tough to watch at first.

I agree. The NCAA has reverted back to the old clock rules, and this will help to eat up some time off the clock that the NCAA has for some reason been desperate to burn off.

Another 'NAY' vote here. I loved those green helmets with the cursive "North Texas", probably because I thought it was real unique. I've only liked white helmets when white was one of the schools primary colors, like in the UT all white jersey or Penn State's blue and white. Haven't cared for it as much when it was a secondary color, say when A&M or Arizona had a white helmet.

Nobody outside of DFW gives a sh*t about UNT, and even on campus the following is sparce.

I would like to say that we're not trying to be like them, after all, we've always been green and we've worn black pants in the past. But, to be perfectly honest, I think we are trying to immulate them to a degree. I don't think we'll jump ship and re-vamp everything, but I think they're trying to look "more familiar" to DFW football fans. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW WHITE HELMETS! I've come to like the new green, I love the new eagle logo, but I hate the mostly white helmet look. What do ya'll think, and what's your favorite helmet in UNT history? I vote for the North Texas written in cursive, 2001-2004.

Does anyone know which away games will be televised locally, if any? As of now, all I can find is OU on FSN.
