Say what you want about the history of our football team, but Lafayette is an AWESOME city. We have big things to do EVERY night of EVERY week of EVERY year. If you haven't lived here, you wouldn't understand it. We had a very cool festival in town today, yet we drew 32,000. Name a day of the week and I'll name an event that's going on that is drawing thousands. Good game tonight guys, Dunbar is an animal and I hope you guys win out!!

Skip Prejeans and head to Cafe Des Amis, it's only a few minutes down the road. They've got the best chicken and sausage gumbo I've ever had!

You would think that after living in Louisiana for 21 years I would get tired of these jokes, but I still love em!!

We really aren't getting ahead of ourselves down here. Yea we've had some success, but a few of our wins were ugly. The fans, coaches, and players know it. We let a bad FAU team come back from 14 down to tie us in the 4th quarter. We played a nearly perfect game against Troy, but we still have room for improvement. We aren't taking anyone lightly. Now that we've got the big games out of the way (FIU and Troy) we won't be overlooking anyone again like we did with Nicholls and FAU.
