Really athletic girl too though, not just a pretty face. Former Florida bball player.
Yep, but a 25 year old female hasn't paid her dues yet to earn my respect. She's there on her looks.

If you're not a young, blonde female you'll never get a chance to be a sideline reporter. I don't like the direction Fox sports is going with hot, sexy female sideline reporters. It's not the WWF.

You can't blame the TV announcers misinformation on Eric Capper. There's a reason why they're assigned a 11am Saturday NT vs. SMU game on TV. It's not Cappers job to make sure they do their home work & preparation before the game. Blame it on the Fox producer. All that type of info is in the media guide so the "talent" didn't do their job.

Hill had a redshirt year to sit and learn the offense. That is a huge difference.
He graduated SLC in May/June2013 and he's a sophomore this year, so I don't think he's a redshirt.

Yep, his performance last night didn't surprise me at all. I've seen him compete as an athlete since he was about 6 or 7, mainly playing on select baseball teams.
He's the main reason why SLC won a State Championship his junior year in football. To me he's a better fit in Sumlin's Offensive system than Johnny was the last several years. I loved the stunned look on the S/ Carolina fans faces early in the game last night. I have the SEC channel on my cable and now I'm going to watch as many games as I can this season. I'm glad College Football season has arrived.

The social discourse on this forum needs a serious adjustment. Now I know why I only visit the forum here a lot less the past 10 years or so.
The Harry vs Scotty days compare nothing to what's being posted this day in age.

I was sitting in the northeast end zone seat about halfway up (the track was still around the field) and even I could tell Cash was out of bounds. One thing I forgot until watching the recent video/news coverage of this game was the student/fan reaction to winning the game. They acted like they just won the Southwest Conference Title. The 1988 North Texas Football team had a great team that year. I just wished they could have advanced past Marshal in the Div. 1AA playoffs.

A good running game always sets up a great passing game. It also helps keep the defense off the field and keeps them rested for not only late in the game but as the season plays out. An extra 30-50 plays on the defense per season does add up and makes a huge difference. Having a balanced attack in College football is very important for the offense but for the defense as well.

I got sect 32 row 22 seat 29/30. The bw map sent in the mail makes it look like that section is in the end zone.

Great raw video, but this video doesn't really tell me anything. If I was a stranger to UNT I wouldn't know what the message is to this video. Yes. The video footage is great. In 3 years this type of video will be the norm. We'll all be used to it. The slow motion didn't flow with the music choice either. Give me some graphics & narration to give me more information.

Texas and California have the best baseball talent hands down.
Add Georgia and Florida as baseball rich talent states.

There are two records I would like to see happen this year with the Mean Green football team.
One, a win vs. a ranked opponent. This hasn't happened since 1974 when North Texas beat #20 San Diego St.
Second, a 10 win season. We've had several 9 win seasons the last decade, but double digit wins is something that hasn't happened since the 10-1 Hayden Fry team in 1977. So maybe the Twitter hashtag should be #Hit10.

Who's going to bring more fans, Guyer or Allen? The 800 member Allen Band is quite a site!

Thanks hickory house for getting this topic back on "track".

The bats used both in high school. & college are BBCOR bats. They have a smaller sweet spot & pop from the old BESR bats that over inflated scoring. Now pitching & defense has come back to the game.

The Baseball Stadium looks nice, but I'm concerned that the field is not dug below street level. The nicer College Baseball fields are dug out at least 15 to 20 feet below street level, and I'm sure that's a extra, huge cost keeping the field at street level. Most new baseball facilities are below street level so when you walk into the stadium you can walk down to your seats. That's my concern and I would like to see Right, Center Field point toward Apogee, that would me putting home plate on the southwest section.

Farrington Field holds 18,500? Holy molly. That place was a dump when I went to WHHS between '93 and '97. I'm sure it hasn't improved very much since I graduated. It puts Fouts Field to shame and FF was built in 1939.
Yes, Farrington in Forth Worth and Fouts share many of the same construction design and look. Even the Press Boxes looked the same for a while.

Wear Mean Green Gear! Today my GF & I walk up to the counter at Paradise Liquor in Corral City (basically Argyle) off of fm 407 & I-35w & the clerk said we get 10% off of liquor/beer since she was wearing a North Texas pullover & we can have the Mean Green North Texas discount! I'm like HELL YES! So always wear your Mean Green gear. Paradise is the main supplier of liquors, etc to most restaurants, bars in the Denton area. So go get some discounted liquor/beer & wear Mean Green gear!
