I'm just hoping for a good turnout and a very loud stadjium on Saturday. After listening to audio from IU players their coaches have really been talking to them about the atmosphere at The App. I'd hate for them to leave saying that it wasn't as loud as they were expecting.
The App huh? Hmm..

Thanks, that's good to know! I will try to do more searching next time lol

I was picking up my student ticket at the ticket office today and saw some Green Out shirts. (found here: http://www.bkstr.com/ProductDisplay/10001-152755-10563-68087561-1 ) While most people wear green anyways, I was wondering if there was an official green out planned and if so could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Does anyone have a summary they can post? I was stuck in class

Codeine syrup and Sprite.
I want some purple drank
-
I have some Strongbow and then when that goes probably some Coors Light. I'm not sure I have enough to drink for this game. I may find myself switching back and forth between this game and the FSU-OU game

Matt...back in 07 I think they did some kind of shuttle down for the ut game....they may be doing it again. Something to think of
Oh nice, thanks! I'll keep an eye out for that!
-
Come watch our volleyball team take on Texas State tonight!
-
Remember... The school has been sponsoring a there-and-back shuttle for our SBC Tournament games for the past few years.
Don't rule out at least a game or two in Hot Springs, even if you are a broke student.
Oh I definitely took advantage of the shuttle last year and it was the best time I've ever had at a sporting event here. I plan to take the shuttle to Hot Springs again this year if they do it. I'd like to go to either the Tech or Texas game but I'm not sure which one. We probably have a better chance against Tech but I still have a little bit of time to decide.

Is UTA's College Park Center going to be opened for the game?
No I don't think so, it's supposed to be finished in December.

Vacation, early departure from work, or half-days are already set and confirmed for UTA, Texas, Centennial Classic at Loyola Marymount, and Hot Springs.
May try to do Tech and Mississippi State, too. Plus the weekend roadies to Louisiana and Arkansas.
Jealous! The only game I can probably make is UTA, everything else is too far (broke college student)

I was hoping for the LSU game to be as crazy as the Texas Tech game but I don't think that's gonna happen
-
Wooooooooooot! Thank you! I like the 7 home games in a row

AT&T was a struggle all day. Tweets took forever and some never made it. Hope they can improve on this.
I doubt it will change any time soon if at all It's the same in College Station on game day. You might as well not even think about picking up your phone. (AT&T anyway)

You're absolutely right. They took us to task during the regular season. Now look back on last season's SBC tournament road.
How sweet payback was in the SBC Tournament. The feeling was right up there with Texas Tech last year. The amount of noise being talked by their women's basketball team was ridiculous.

Damn, that's a horrible drive to make during mid week
I know.. My class times work out to where I COULD do it, but I'm not sure that I want to put myself through it lol

Just FYI... Here is how you get around the ESPN 3 restrictions...
Log out of any Yahoo! products (email, my Yahoo!, etc.)
Go to http://www.att.net/
Click on "Mail" in the leftmost column.
Click on "Create New Account" on the bottom right of the sign-in page.
Create an att.net email address.
Go to www.espn3.com
Click on "Remote Access" in the top bar (just to the left of Watch Now)
Select AT&T as your service provider, and login with the att.net email you just created.
Voila, you now have espn3.com access.

For some debating if crowd noise has anything to do with the performance on the field....how about something from someone actually ON the field:
"We came out on fire," Thompson said. "The fans were in it. That was more than what I expected. They did a great job of keeping us in the game. They caused a lot of problems for Houston's offense. I couldn't stand next to a teammate and hear what he was saying."

HOUSTON HEAD COACH Kevin Sumlin
"We're not very happy with the way we started. It was the first game on the road which is concerning."
"The energy of the crowd was good and a little more than we expected."
"Great energy in that stadium tonight, and we didn't respond well."
HOUSTON SENIOR QUARTERBACK Case Keenum
"You have to give North Texas a lot of credit. When they got things going in the first half they were tough to beat. They've got a good team over there"
"We just didn't deal with the pressure and atmosphere very well in the first half."

I'm watching it on the Big 10 network. Channel 610 on Direct TV.
Sigh.. I knew I should have sprung for Direct TV instead of settling for the free cable that came with my apartment!
-
ISU and Iowa are tied 10-10 at the half.
Where can I watch this game?
-
Where do you get a campus coupon book?
I've seen them at the bookstore next to Chicken Express, the bookstore on campus and even Voertman's at the beginning of the semester
