I won't pretend I've read half of these posts, but in regards to TCU related posts, while new to the boards I can still say just about everything I've read on this board has been positive reinforcement of the frogs (pleasing to me, I grew up in Fort Worth as well and can call myself a frog fan)...don't really see why everyones getting so tempermental.....ha will say in regards to the "Fatterson" comment any TCU fan who gets offended by people poking fun at Patterson oughta be used to it....NO ONE will doubt the guy is a defensive genius (pretty much invented 4-2-5)but anyone even remotely close to the program can tell you Gary has the attitude and field presence of a constipated grizzly. Common knowledge amongst staff and supporting staff....anyone catch that bit on ESPN about him going off on one of the doctors? Anyway, back to the point of things, people need to lighten up no harm no foul.

Canales is definitely on my short list, his enthusiasm is commendable but I think people are being awful quick to jump on the bandwagon after only a couple wins against sub par teams. It'll be interesting to see who RV brings in for interviews. Personally I'd like to wait and see who the other viable contenders are before playing team Canales. Things I'd like to see in other candidates are strong Texas ties and a man who can recruit the hell out of this state, a HC that can bring a winning staff I'm talking experienced assistants who know their X's and O's, and ideally a guy that knows and has experience with turning programs around. I'm still liking Fran if we could get him, also possibly Kraigthorpe I think he did a hell of job at Tulsa.

Canales is making quite a case for himself.....but I just think so much of it comes down to recruiting

My thoughts exactly, as of now each of thier QB's have won a game(Dasher, Kilgore, Murphy). Kilgore and Murphy can both bring things to the table in game situations, I'd rather play with Dasher in and just make sure D can stop him. Also agreed on Riley playing all 4 quarters.

Leach won't be our guy, I just don't see him coming here. Personally I'd love to see what a man like Fran can do here. Let's face it, we need a headcoach that has serious Texas ties and can recruit the hell out of this state. Fran can not only do that, but is the only realistic candidate that can bring in the kind of staff we need, one with experienced football coach's who know what they're doing. People can have their opinions on Fran but overall he's a coach who knows what needs to be done to win, and that's exactly what we need here. He's coached at multiple levels of college ball and turned around programs in each them, great examples include UNM and TCU, many others to choose from though.

I stopped predicting outcomes a long time ago, but thoughts on the game....Dwight Dasher hasn't had one solid game all season, threw four interceptions last game (I think there were also a couple fumbles) and currently MT is 120th out of 120 teams in the nation on turnovers. Make no mistake Shultz is great OC and will come to play with a great game plan, before MT he was OC at TCU for 11 years. But overall with Dasher playing like he has been I think the defense can stop them, as long as offense can move the ball, we should be in a pretty good place to secure the W.

Should be a good game. Shultz is a solid play caller and before mtsu was offensive coordinator at TCU for 11 years, the guys gonna come with a game plan, but Dwight Dasher hasn't pulled it together yet all season, if they keep up their high turnover rate (currently ranked 120th out of 120 teams) I think our defense can put a cap on them. As long as we can move the ball on offense I think we have a pretty good shot at winning.
