  1. Should be a great tournament and a good chance to see Jordan, and show Jarion Henry love too
  2. Be prepared to stand up the entire game if you have the cheaper seats. That is generally in or around student section at the Phog
  3. Yes, I think he is improving. I think confidence is HUGE to be able to play this game. He is a lot more confident now, and that will only help him in the long run. He is still getting a year of development, but he gets to play during that year. Coach Taylor, product of Coach Foy, is going to help this kid out tremendously! So instead of him riding the bench, he can go be confident and play. Yes, that's AJ on the roster at Paris
  4. Losing RJ, we didn't lose too much. I like the kid, and he looks great at Paris, but he was not D1 ready right now. Will he be? Yes, in my opinion. I watched him play open gym with UNT and with Paris, and they are too totally different kids. Confidence is huge in order to be successful, and he didn't have it here. I think JuCo will do him wonders.
  5. I was at Pangos. Thought he was one of the best guys there. I love watching him in camp settings, I just don't see it transitioning over to the court when the lights are on. Good kid, just don't see all the hype in games. I wish him all the best in WV. I hope his upside comes out, he has the size and the want to.
  6. Other than Keaton can defend, some players, what is so special about him. I have asked this question a million times and never got a reply, so I will try it again: When is the last time you heard someone say, "Man, Keaton took over that game." Go ahead, I'll wait
  7. Don't most people pick games to attend based on the team they are playing? I love Maverick games, but for my money, I would rather watch them play the Lakers rather than the Kings or Nets. At the football games, the stands were packed versus Rice, but virtually empty the next home game. The Ok St basketball game was packed, but how many others had the same crowd.
  8. Didn't go to the game, but when I talked to Jordan, he said it was pretty empty inside. But he did say Devonta was having a good time. Text him, and he didn't reply, that could be a good sign too
  9. Jordan is number 106 overall in the nation at this moment. Devonta is 105
  10. Big weekend for UNT basketball. Need fan support to be at an all time high.
  11. Of course not. He's short and from another country. What's the other guard for Dallas that didn't have an upside either, Bubois or something like that?
  12. Funny that I have had this conversation with several heads, local ballers, evaluators, and coaches and they agree he is in the top. Maybe not the top, like I said, but definitely in the top. And I guess Earl Boykins, Spud Webb, and Mougsy Bogues didn't have an upside either right? You know, not being 6'2" and all. I never knew that your height is what determined if you still had room to get better.
  13. I was with this kid all summer and watch him go up against some of the best guards in the nation. I watched him lead Showtyme to countless wins all summer in national tournaments. The kid is a beast and has even more upside.
  14. Trey Norris, in my opinion, is the best Point Guard in the area at this time. He is a floor general and a natural leader. I do believe people question if White could get it done too.
  15. Can't speak on how BoBo was cleared to play immediately, but wasn't that an NCAA decision? No, not everyone gets the same treatment, i.e. Duke vs Baylor foul count. But that is in life all together ins't it? Again, I disagree about Drew. I have sat in his office many of times talking about kids, including a kid that is Top 5 in the nation for class of 2013, and he has never offered or suggested to line pockets. Boosters have put billions of dollars into their facilities, and some of those things are attractive. Boosters, maybe. Coach Drew, I don't think so.
  16. I disagree with you about Coach Drew. I have taken high major recruits on unofficials at Baylor before, riding to the game with Coach Drew, and he didn't even pay for our food at Wendy's. Can't imagine him breaking too many rules and he didn't shell out $4 for a couple Texas Double Cheeseburgers.
  17. I disagree about being soft. I think it is more of a situation where they were forced to play on the box because they were the tallest player in the gym. Bohannon will be in the league one day.
  18. Find the game when they played Lancaster. When he went up against John Bohannon and Mike Kyser, and it might change your mind.
  19. Good kid. Great player. Not sure why he decommited though. He is going to be a solid player at the next level though
  20. You can vote countless times per computer. I generally try to get in about 10 a day
  21. Trey Davis had an unofficial visit Saturday. Trey Norris is the one I was talking about.
  22. Jordan, Trey, and Devonta were on campus Saturday. They were not with coaches, but were here
