The negative is that we're waiting on money from government. Hopefully that won't hold things ups.

Proud of the Frogs!!
TCU played a great game. Hat's off to our neighbors. I hope we can be where they're at one day. We had some big 10 folks in the house today, and they(Iowa fans) were pulling for their conference mates. Everyone agreed about TCU's legitamacy after that game.

Should be Rivals: Houston and to much lesser extent Memphis, also Louisiana in Lafayette if they can get rid of turkey little brother and properly call themselves THE University of Louisana (we must all hate LSU for this), also SO Miss yes and LA Tech
Should not be Rivals: TXSt (should be changed to UT-SM), UTSA (please have pride), UTA (should be UNT-A) hey don't forget SFA (should be AM-Nac), SH (AM-Hunt), Angelo (TT-SanAng), Sul Ross (cede to Mexico), AM Comm (UNT-Comm), UTT (AM-T), TJC, Kilgore there's a whole new conference for some of you guys
Dishonorable mention Rival: Northeast Golden Gobblers (the fact they can even be mentioned is a point of shame, notwithstanding swamp on campus) WAC is looking, maybe if they go there LA Tech will join Belch.
Potential but not really when you think about it Rivals: stAte, Troy, UTEP (should be TT-EP and join WAC)
Ghost of the past Rival: NMSU sad, good rival for TTEP though
We have a ways to go but should do a Tyson on them Rivals: TT (once they actually put tax dollars to work and perform a function by administering the other state schools in west Texas we can catch them), SMU (after they are sufficiently scorned by TCU)
Like it, maybe SMU can become TCU-Dallas or better yet UNT-Dallas-II

Guys, look...I'm no ardent Dodge backers, but be realistic. We were in a situation where we needed to throw the ball to score quickly. No way we scored that last touchdown out of the Wildcat. Thompson gave us the best chance to complete the comeback.
I agree. As the coach, TD is trying to win the game immediately before him. I'm no apologist for Dodge, but if you field 2 qbs, and they both go down, the most logical choice is to go to the next one on the roster. He may or may not be with us next year, and i doubt anyone is 100% sure whether he is or not, I'm sure he didn't do this act out of spite for the program.

OK, I know some folks on the board are not at all concerned about this, and I was not too worked up over it until this morning when i opened my DMS sports section and found ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION OF NORTH TEXAS and the LSU game. Come on, what the heck is up with that? Yes, the sports section is going from very good to mediocre and probably lower than that soon, but to not even mention UNT???? What gives? Thirty five thousand students, many thousands of grads and/or "former students" in the DMN coverage area, and not a mention?
OK, just had to vent a little....
I did not get anything on it either. Plenty of SMUT-TECHNO, but NOOOO UNT(and no, mine was not an early edition). If you're as far out as i am(40 miles), maybe we don't get the same editions(but, yes we did get plenty of hurricane coverage). I'd switch, but the Star-Telegram would probably get here a day late. The Cedar Creek Pilot or the Monitor rarely cover Mean Green atheletics. There was a small reference to their website for NT/LSU coverage.

Wow you cajuns are tough.
I wish we could make it, my wife is a LSU Tiger. She always tells me about the famous tailgating. We're coming one day soon, but i'd almost rather enjoy one with Georgia or Arkansas or Tennesee than one with my UNT.

MWC/WAC.....How would that hit the ponies? Didn't they follow TCU to CUSA before TCU got away to MWC ? They get into CUSA and all of their former brethren from WAC get to hang with the MWC.

We were in 211 and left early in 4th 1/4. Hated to do it, but we were parked waaaay out. The way the 3rd quarter(1st few minutes)started, it seemed to drain all hope. 20-17 to 34-17 way too fast.
