And I am really at a loss as to what the solution is. I regularly invite guests, many of whom are alumni.  All enjoy and want to come again.  None have bought their own tickets.  They just want to be invited again.

They buy NT gear and follow the team, but they don't come on their own.

It would be my assumption that they weren't having that great of time or they don't care that much then.  I'll go to a stars game for free and have a pretty good time, but I won't buy tickets.  🙂

Do all of them have the same name identification, image usage and likeness?  If not, they are abusing the spirit of the NIL.  Not everyone has the same amount of familiarity with the public.  The amount of NIL each recruit should earn has been worked out and I see the NIL for the average recruit seems to be $6,000-$10,000; nowhere near what SMU is paying.

Tech also gives 25k to each player including walk-ons.  It's a one year contract that can be renewed yearly.

  3. While I believe he probably did things that he should/will go to prison for, do y'all believe that 13 girls took money and agreed to NDAs?  I'm assuming some of these girls were under 18 and the parents would have agreed to it.  As a dad of a daughter there is no way I agree to this, so to find multiple dads/parents is unbelievable to me.

La Tech, FIU, ACU, Temple, Navy, Tulsa, UAB,

No reason we shouldn't win at least 4 of these games. With our easy OOC schedule, anything less than 5 wins would be very disappointing. I'm expecting 6-6 or 7-5.

If it were next year, I'd have a higher number of wins, but with all the changes (HC, Offense, Defense, QB) we'll need a little bit more time to get to full speed.  Unfortunately, our easy part of the schedule is in the beginning of the year where we'll more than likely working out the kinks.  La Tech is one of those games where if we played later maybe a W and its on the road.  Navy, is a tough team to play always because of the option offense and it's on the road.  UAB has had our number for years, so I was going with my gut.  My GUESS is our 4 wins are FIU, ACU, Temple and Tulsa.  But I could see La Tech, Navy and Tulsa going either way.

Play calling that made him the single season record holder for passing touchdowns while leading the nation in yards per completion? Yes I know yards per completion, well what about all of those incompletions. Good point, he finished 18th in the NATION in yards per attempt right between 17th ranked Dylan Gabriel of OU and 19th ranked Frank Harris of Bexar County CC.

Because he played a (what would be in this scenario) NFL quarterback over all the guys on here wanting anybody but Aune?

Ability to recognize his talent and play him?

We played a high risk/high reward type of offense which is why Aune’s completion percentage was low and interceptions were high. His touchdowns were also very high. Many of you are super high on Chandler Rogers and his 67.5% completion percentage and just get disgusted at Aune’s 56.4% last season. Did you know that even with a much higher completion rate Rogers averaged a full 1.1 yards per attempt less than Aune. Their touchdown to interception ratio was almost identical yet Aune threw for a touchdown every 12.5 attempts while Rogers threw one every 21 attempts. Aune was not anywhere close to as bad as some of you made him out to be.

You could make it even easier.  Rogers threw just about one touchdown a game...one.  Now, I'm optimistic about Rogers and think he looks like a solid get (although in my opinion he's been outperformed so far), but completion % can be misleading. Short completions and garbage time completions against loose coverage can embellish that stat. So, I'm a little skeptical of his high completion % when its accompanied by other stats that are on the low side.  If he was so good at completing passes why didn't they ask him to do it more often?

How is this even news that a coach used that as an insult?  Honestly, I would think the anti-Catholic angle would be the far bigger issue, especially in that part of the country.

It's not news that used the word, it's news he used it during an interview.

What the heck has happened to Gunnell since the days he was a 4* from TAPPS, and played some his first two years under Sumlin at AZ? Overrated? Achilles changed him? Burnout?

I don't see Rogers transferring without being told it's his job to lose... But I'm encouraged by Ruder and Stone.

That's not what Morris does, he usually gives it to the players straight. There's a story from his time at Tech when Mahomes was there that he was on a visit with Jarrett Stidham who was already verbally committed and when his dad and he asked Morris about being the starter immediately Morris responded that he'd have to compete for it.  Stidham decommitted and went to baylor.  So, if anything he's honest to a fault.

Just out of curiosity: Would verybody feel the same way if the City of Denton was interested in building North Texas a first class baseball park in the "downtown area" around the square and all it's restaurants?

The city may be finally showing interest in getting involved and supporting the university.

From fan perspectives, what would be the ideal support you would desire?

The thing is that this Mayor might care but the next one might not.  We don't need the city to care, we need the citizens to care.  If the constituents care the city will have to care.  What Tylor was doing with visiting the schools plus our success on the court helps more than a mayor putting his interests in us.  We want the people who live here to buy in. Maybe more community out reach and success on the court/field is the only way.  Obviously, the city council and mayor's support helps but it won't fill up the arena.
